OBC from BOA Royal card

(Just a heads up, I used to have to actually wait. until ON BOARD.)

We redeemed points for our October cruise. I was surprised to see it ready to use when I logged in today to my Royal account. It is nIce to be able to book excursions and pay with OBC ahead of time!

I read that they now show up in your cruise planner 14 days before your cruise.

I already used my OBC and my cruise is in November.

My onboard credit from my Royal visa card showed in my account and I don't sail until summer 23. I wanted to use my miles before they expired.

I cashed in some points for my Sept 17 cruise and the obc is not showing up yet. If I end up needing to call, do I call Royal or Bank of America card services? Thanks!

When I did mine for our Sept 17th cruise a couple of weeks ago, it took about a week to add to my previous $50.00 OBC.  All set now.

Have this card and always forget about my points.

 

does it make any sense to wait to redeem for higher OBC amounts or just spend as it comes available?
