Is this your cruise?  Oh no…I wouldn’t go on that cruise. My DH loves martial arts and I’d never see him. 😝

It's a special interest cruise for those interested in the sport. No different than a music cruise for jazz aficionados, or the much maligned swingers or nudist cruises. If you are already booked, you should be able to change to another cruise if being on board would bother you. But no one would force you to participate. And I don't think it's aimed at anyone who has never been involved in martial arts before.

 

At least it isn't a GOOP cruise, like Celebrity had.

This is my cruise. Don’t know how I feel about it. Changing dates really isn’t an option since this is booked with Covid Future Cruise Credits that expire during that cruise.

It sounds like this isn't so much a themed cruise as it is a floating convention that happens to be on this particular sailing.  That said, I could see a program like this being popular with younger passengers on the ship, especially with the "Cobra Kai" fad going on lately.

Personally, I would love this! I taught martial arts when I lived in California and would love to experience this.
