Live from Coral Princess - Round Australia October 2022

Recommended Posts

Heads up. Last night only dipped to around 14C, but the forecast is down to 8C the next couple nights in Perth. Further south it is unlikely to be warmer. Albany may drop as low as 4C Sunday night. Rug up, winter ain't quite done yet, apparently.

That’s good. Real blankets or pool blankets? As Frank gets so hot under doonas (that he sleeps just under sheet) and if I could get doona replaced with a blanket I would.

I always ask on day one and have always had two blankets.

My husband always asks for a blanket as he finds the doona too hot. It was much worse when they went through a  period of only having a doona with no top sheet .We always asked for top sheet. At least they have come to their senses in that regard.

On my last cruise the steward put the blanket inside the doona cover.

Have only used the lift once, and that was at 3am in the morning on the first night. I realise that the stairs aren't an option for many though. And here we are with the dreaded lurgy😆

We’re you getting up or going to bed 😂😂

Yes, We always asked for a top sheet. Having to change our own bed clothes now, while in iso, is interesting .😁

🤣. Complaining about a cabin that was banging and knocking on deck 8 Port aft. By 3am, and just the odd doze, it was time to complain. I prefer to do things in person if possible, so I walked down to services. After a little while, the lovely young man at the desk sorted things, He hopped into the lift with me to take me to check out a cabin on 12 Starboard forward. We were given it for 12 hrs, along with deck 8, so I walked back down to 8, grabbed a few things, hubby decided he wasn't wandering around the ship at that hour, so I walked back up to 12. Had a great sleep till hubby came in at 9am. So there you have it. My one and only ride so far in a lift on this cruise with a lovely young man at 2am. We are now enjoying the peace and quiet, not the port side, but great sleeping.

🤣🤣🤣. Pretty sure he would have crashed through the lifts glass to get away. And the guy sleeping here beside me in iso, is pretty special.

Someone just mentioned to the Good Spirits bar staff that everyone on Coral of the Seas is not allowed to leave the ship for 7 days, and we have covid aboard Majestic, but are lucky they are letting us into Sydney.

You can,t make this stuff up. Take care everyone

'Coral of the Seas'  Did they cut Coral Princess in half whilst she was in Freo and weld it to some old RCI ship? stupid is stupid, lol.

Spectacular farewell from Freo!

Love all the cars on the Seawall whooping and hollering and nice of the captain to give a nice long farewell blast! Almost my fav bit of cruising!!!

Doh! It may be I’m not inserting correctly. I’ll try and redo. Thanks for letting me know. Frank is fine, only had very mild symptoms so we just have to sit out the five day iso and they test him on 1st Nov before releasing him 🥰

Yeah, I have been reading that page every other day since May. I think you miss my point.

Well, I think I may have gotten the point, if it was tongue in cheek. Other wise, have no idea.   I put that link in if anyone may be interested.
