We've spoken to a couple of the crew that we know quite well by now and both assured us that there was very little Covid among the crew, thank goodness.

Great news. When Coral Princess next departs Sydney, if not before, she will be back to near zero.

That is great news, as I board in Brisbane on the 10th of November, for our first cruise since covid.

NSW Gov website now has Coral at Tier 3, so there must be many cases.

Tier 3
Cruise reporting icon Wide

High Impact to Vessel
There are a lot of cases on board (100 or more positive cases per 1,000 people) and/or the vessel is unable to maintain critical services due to staffing or resource shortages.

Yes, at the moment there probably are a lot of cases but some should be recovering over the next few days and testing negative.

We are still operating with only one MDR open for dinner. Once they open the other one then I'll know the numbers have dropped significantly.

The media will love that. Channel 9 is giving it an airing.

Might be staff shortages being the reason why only 1 MDR open.

Crikey, the one open must be choc a block.

They need staff to handle all the room service deliveries.

Yes, it's very busy in the evenings in the MDR.
