Do HAL Ships Ever Stop in Haifa Israel

Most lines only offer a few itineraries a year that stop in Israel (often paired with Egypt), usually during the shoulder season of the Med when the weather is more bearable.

For HAL, I see one 14-day cruise in Nieuw Statendam departing Athens (roundtrip) on Oct 1 2023 with calls in both Haifa and Ashdod in Israel. No Egyptian ports but other ports include Cyprus, Rhodes, Kusadasi and other Eastern Med staples.  Looks like it is also offered in combination with either the cruise before or after as a 28-day cruise but only the 14-day segment I listed above includes Israel.

(Adding the preceding cruise would get you stops in Alexandria, Egypt and also an overnight in Istanbul, making it a pretty interesting combination. The preceding cruise departs Civitavecchia [Rome] on Sept 17, 2023.)

There is also the option of Oosterdam on June 11th 2023, from Trieste, calling to Ashdod, Haifa, Limasol, Rodos, and others, before returning to Trieste.  12 days.

This is offered once or twice a Med season. Had  a similar cruise booked for June for 2021, Covid got in the way.

 TIA

There is a useful option on the HAL website, where you can search in offered cruises, selecting the desired port(s) of call;

https://www.hollandamerica.com/en_US/find-a-cruise.html#start=0&{!tag=portsTag}portsOfCall=AS1,HFA&soldOut=false

In the past you have said you no longer fly, so would you be looking for a round trip via ship from CA that also stops in Haifa?

  Toy know it is feaseable  to travel only by ship  ,first the panama canal to Florida , Then a trans Atlantic  cruise to  Europe , Travel  Europe by rail & car , Then board the ship that stops in Israel ports    in October , then drive or train to the port then board the ship TA back to Florida & finally a 2nd Panama Canal cruise back to California

Hope this answers your inquiry ?🤣
