I just snagged a $500 reward a minute ago BUT they upped the pricing to 750k, and took away the $250 rewards.  The $750 is now 1M, and sold out.

Me too!!!  I’ve been checking daily for the $750 one but it was always sold out so I saw the $500 one available last night and grabbed it.   My problem is to find a cruise that has solo cabins because otherwise I’d be paying double any suggestions anyone?

Just refreshed...either $750 one is only repopulating just 1 or isn't at all.

$500 available NOW

typically, i am able to apply FCC, Cruise Next or Cruise First certificates to the CAS "free" cruise to reduce the various fees and charges. i know the $$$ off myvegas certificates can't be used to offset fees or gratuities. but what about free at sea plus or wifi or additional specialty dining? that goes into my total cruise fare... can i apply a myvegas reward to offset these charges?

Hi @UKstages sorry to report. No, they will not allow the $$ off myVEGAS cert to be used in combination with their comp offers. I had a land based casino cert (which is how the myVegas certs are treated) as well as their new offer method where a comp cert from NCL is pre-loaded on your account, as well as I asked for an offer to be generated based on play. I was not able to apply the dollar off coupon to any of those three offers.

You can double stack the $$ off rewards however, so 2x - $750, plus a $500 CruiseFirst/CruiseNext still results in some decent savings. These combined with an AMEX offer result in $2750 applied towards payment for only $650 out of pocket (the AMEX is usually $350 back when you spend 1K)

I used this along with the additional 50% off Alaska Coupon that went out a while ago and it resulted in close to a free balcony room. Granted after taxes, fees, gratuities and flights, it still turns out to be a good chunk of change out of pocket. But I was happy with all of the discount stacking

Now there's only the $750 in POP at 1 million. At least it's in stock. I see 4 available so maybe it's the quarterly refresh?!? Maybe the 250 and 500 will be back too.

Update: the 750 is out of stock now but the 500 is back.

Wild. I get the Refresh notifications on another social media site...

I went RIGHT to the app when I saw it.

No $750 but $500 were back.

Crazy they populated at different times!

There’s a set time they refresh each day. I have a reminder so I just check at that time. Each day of the week it’s the same. There are one offs and new rewards that might happen at different times but the existing rewards follow the pattern.

https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/daily-myvegas-refresh-times.193384/

It’s also possible they allocate the rewards differently to each game so it might be worth checking different games. There’s also the way you have to get the game to refresh. Some seem to require a restart while others you just got out of the rewards section and back in, etc.

Interesting…I’ve played MyVEGAS for years & refresh varies daily, including NCL…tho like I said, odd today.

AND I’m on LVMB—HOW DID I MISS THIS??!!

Thanks!

I just called and confirmed there is still a $20 per person per night admin fee with using the $750 off voucher or any of the vouchers.

This doesn’t make sense. If you got a $250 off voucher for two people it would cost $280 for seven days or for one person $140 for seven days so you would only get for one person $110 off for two people it would cost you $30 for that $250 coupon. Or am I doing the math wrong? I just won a $500 off coupon so I guess I’ll find out when I figure out which cruise I wanna book. .

Sorry, to clarify: one person can buy and use a $500 and a $750 on one booking?

it is $250 off without the $20 admin fee. The admin fee on invoice is the balance of the fare difference - $250

no. some cases have been reported that people have used 2 $750, one acquired by passenger one and one acquired by passenger two and combined when booking these two passengers on the cruise.

You shouldn't be able to buy 2 rewards alone anyway, because it's limit 30, or maybe 180 days between rewards.

I agree you shouldn't be able to but I somehow got the $750 and a $500 later. Probably a technical problem on the myVEGAS side. I was denied using it because there's some checking they do at NCL. (I had used the $750 earlier.) I tried to get a refund of the points but the customer service drone for Playstudios just pointed to the terms and said it was non-refundable.  By the way, the NCL rep said I should be able to get a refund. I don't feel like fighting Playstudios again. Their customer service people in some ways are like NCL's... keep trying and you find different answers the more people you talk to...eventually you might get someone to give you a refund. Anyways, I guess I'll have to eat the 500k points. Now the rewards cost even more points.

Unless anyone wants to roll the dice with NCL, be careful getting additional rewards.

There is no $20/day admin fee. I paid for a cruise using two $750 off rewards, I paid no admin fee. The difference between the room cost and the reward coupon will appear int he invoice as an admin fee.

That is exactly what I thought!  Thanks!  Much better deal I think than those “free Alaska cruises” myvegas is also offering. Wish I could have gotten a $750 off but I got tired of trying as they were always sold out and still are.

Thanks Smarter, you beat me to the reply. This is correct. I applied one reward that I purchased to my booking as guest one. and a second reward purchased by a different myvegas player who i am traveling with as guest 2.

As others have said, the CAS booking agents are not always familiar with all of the terms, but this is entirely allowed. with some friendly suggestions and patience you should be able to get them to visit the playstudios reward redemption portal that does not include any limitations about this in the terms. if they push back further you can Hang Up and Call Again. It has been doubled by multiple users at this point.

The terms and conditions for these rewards continue to be vague and frustrating. For some dimwitted reason the rewards platform is set up to allow a player to purchase an NCL reward every 30 days. However, you are only allowed to redeem one reward every 180. These are new terms as of about a month ago. for the first 6 weeks or so that the NCL rewards were available, players who jumped on the NCL reward right as it was posted, were able to purchase their second reward at the 30 day mark and use the second coupon without a problem. within about a week and a half after that, those of us who purchased rewards that did not mention ANYTHING about the 180 day rule were told by NCL that they were unable to redeem the reward through the Playstudios portal because the terms did not allow it. NCL was super understanding about my frustration and actually offered to extend an existing comp cert that I had to cover the booking I was trying to make, but they said I would have to take the matter up with Playstudios as they were also unable to reach anyone to explain the terms better.

After about a week of back and forth with PS who kept trying to give me canned responses I was finally told that my request was being elevated to "reward specialist" I never heard anything more, or was given a reason as to why they did not honor a reward purchased before the terms changed, but they refunded the coins to my account.... I would have rather the discount, as I have already made up the coins with farming the games LOL

got a question.  my edocs say Casinos at Sea, so is that the line I need to get into? or do I go to the Platinum line?

Whichever is quicker. The ones I have been on, the Casinos at Sea lines have been shorter so I go there. I have Platinum too. Of course, Haven is the quickest if you're booking one of those.

It might be more trouble than it’s worth but Tetris added $100 giftcards for Southwest and AirBNB. 500k points. They might be something you can use on your cruise trip. Check the terms for details.

Interesting, I can't seem to find them on my Tetris. I see new gift cards for Target and National Parks but no Southwest. Which category are they under?

They were at the bottom of the retail category, after scrolling past all of the bike offers.

The Southwest gift card disappeared first, and the Airbnb gift card may have still been available yesterday, but I also see that it's disappeared.

No clue whether they'll ever come back.

It also seems that they're limiting purchases to just 1 gift card in a 14 day period now (used to be 2)
