Premium Drinks Package, OBC and Sky Suites

Did you book directly with Celebrity?

it’s almost impossible to accidentally book a Sky Suite without the retreat package. If you’re getting $850 in OBC, you almost certainly booked a retreat package, with premium drinks, Wi-Fi, and gratuities, and the OBC thrown in.

Your confirmation should have a series of what appear to be gibberish codes. Most of the current promotions are 75% off the second guest, so the codes have 75 in them. What do those say?

If you booked recently then unless you are doing a casino booking you have the Premium beverage package, premium wi-fi and daily gratuities pre paid. You can use the OBC for excursions, specialty dining, spa services, booking a cabana, shopping on board, extra tips to your butler or cabin attendant, some nice bottles of wine, classes in the fitness center and most anything you would pay for once on the ship except the deposit to book another cruise.

@katmigordon:  You most likely have the premium beverage package, premium wi-fi, pre-paid  gratuities and the non-refundable onboard credit.  Unless you are on a Blue Chip comped cruise (the Celebrity casino program), you most likely have the full Retreat (think Suite) perks.  You will not need to use the OBC toward any of those perks (beverage package, wi-fi, or pre-paid gratuities).

If you booked through a travel agent they can confirm your perks.  If you booked with Celebrity direct then a Celebrity agent can confirm your package details.

If you have your Celebrity invoice and it has Retreat listed either in promotions or as a line item then you have the 4 perks.

I do wish they would clearly identify booking perks in your account under Manage Reservation it would alleviate so many of these questions.

How did you book this cruise?  If you booked through a travel agent then that person is who will answer your questions.

If you booked either through a Celebrity vacation planner or through the Celebrity website then call the Celebrity booking phone number.

Did you book online? If so, first check your confirmation. I can't think of a real reason you'll need to call Celebrity to confirm what packages you have. The customer service phone number is at the top of the web page, 1-888-751-7804. (I'm assuming you're in the US as you don't have your location visible.)

If you booked with a TA, call them.

I feel your confusion. I think it is ridiculous that we cannot easily see what we have booked through the celebrity website, and that the site continues to promote options that we already have on the booking and allows you to double book drinks packages if you are not carful or aware of what you received in the original offer.

@katmigordon, I had a similar situation just last week re not knowing if I had the beverage package, etc - and I had booked directly with Celebrity online.  I had never received a booking statement from Celebrity. Another CCer suggested that I use the chat feature and request a copy of my booking statement that outlines everything on your booking.  The person I chatted  to was very helpful and was able to email a copy of my booking statement.

Use the chat feature to save yourself some time!

You can also get a copy of your booking if booked directly (not with agent )

Call the regular Celebrity 1-800 number, select option 1, then option 3, to get the latest booking confirmation emailed to the address on record for Person #1 on the booking. But I have been informed by folks on CC that only works if you’re booked directly with Celebrity.

Call Celebrity 1-888-751-7804. If you just booked, some times it takes a few days to for the all included drink package, tips, WiFi, and OBC to show up on your invoice. The number above you can also request an invoice to be emailed to you. Enjoy your trip and Sky Suite!

As others above have stated you should have all the premium perks along with your OBC. Your invoice from Celebrity should have something that looks like the following:

I did not go through Celebrity to book our Feb cruise on the Beyond, instead, we used an airline site, which went well (I think), but I'm having difficulty verifying that we received exactly what we were told.  Specifically, I cannot see on any of the documents that I actually have the drinks, tips, and wi-fi!  In reading Terry's post from above he has the drinks, tips & internet listed on his booking detail, but I do not.  We are in a Sky Suite and the $850 OBC is listed along with the "retreat pkg" and OBC but that's it.  Also, the Celebrity app is offering a drinks package, so it is not aware that we already have it!

Guess I better call XYZ Airlines!  (Not allowed to discuss TA's, right!)

I have three Celebrity cruises booked, all with Beverage package and WiFi perks, and those items still show up under the Celebrity app for me as well (even though I have it under the booking promotion).

As Terry said it can take up to 10 days to get that detail added to the invoice.  If your TA mailed the invoice right as you booked it won't be there.  If you have the retreat pkg listed then you have the perks and wouldn't worry about it.

The invoice from your TA should list specifically what you bought from them including the perks and anything they may have added as well.

This was resolved exactly as you suggested, wrk2cruise.  i.e. - the TA sent me an updated invoice and all the perks were added but it did not happen until Celebrity updated it after the booking was submitted (1-2 days).

All the best and thank you!
