Shore excursion in Cabo San Lucas

Has anyone taken a shore excursion through Celebrity in Cabo San Lucas?   I was looking at a Coastal Highlights tour or a Cabo Sughtseeing tour?   Or should we get off the ship and find our own tour??

It’s very hard to get advice when we don’t know anything about your likes and dislikes and what you need. Do you have any mobility issues ? are you interested in history or art or scenery or shopping or a Beach Day?

We just returned from Mexican Rivera cruise two weeks ago. We had the most fun in Cabo and we are in our 70’s. We decided to do on our own and not prebook a tour. We walked along the marina and went to Cabo Waco for a drink and some snacks. It was early so not a lot going on but it was nice and the Taquitos were good. We then walked back to the waterfront a took a boat out to the arch and then he dropped us off at the beach and went to a place called The Mango Deck. It was great, drinks were 2/1 and there was entertainment. Pretty wild but it was our favorite activity of the entire cruise. Then the boat picked us back up at agreed time and took us back to catch our tender. We were in port from 8-4 I believe so a nice day. You will get your feet wet at the beach when you get out of boat.

We did the whale watching tour.  I would highly recommend if the whales are around when your cruise is.

Sounds awesome. How did you acquire said boat to the arch?  Was there an area to purchase a ticket?

Agree with whale watching if they are around.  You need to pre-book.  Again what do you enjoy and when is your cruise.  By April getting warm to hot.  Being a tender port you need to plan accordingly.

There are people along the waterfront selling tours and boat trips. Talk to a few to negotiate a price and make sure if they are quoting for a group price or per person.  If you plan to be dropped off at beach as we did make sure to look at boat and the person driving it. Our guy was great and picked us up at exactly the time we agreed upon.

Not sure if Celebrity offers it,  but if you like adventure excursions we did a 4x4 Polaris adventure through Carnival and it was a blast.  One of our best excursions to date.  May can find it through a 3rd party.

Not sure when you will be going but whale watching would be my first choice if it’s the right season. We have also done a tour that combined a catamaran sail to see the arches with a land tour to San Jose del Cabo that we really enjoyed
