Read this from January...Still a problem at Miami port

Construction at the Port of Miami has been a nightmare for months. It took almost 2 hours to get from the entrance to the VV drop off in January. It should take less than 5 mins

No problem last October, no problem in late February.

It took us over an hour to get from the entrance to the VV terminal last week.

Is there any consistency as to day of week or time of day that it is takings a long time?   For example, are there delays on weekdays but not weekends?  Is it a problem for 1:30 arrival times but not 3:30?  I'm just trying to make sense out of reports of no delays vs long delays.

I didn't experience any construction delays on my past 5 VV cruises (Jan, Feb, March, and April).

Our last sailing was on a Wednesday and Scarlet Lady was the only ship in port, traffic was not a problem at all in the port area.

We sailed out on April 8th and there were 7 ships in port, we arrived at the parking garage at 9am and took us no time at all entering.

traffic was bad, but we still made it to the port by 11:30. Left the hotel about 11.
