World Class Bar Zacapa?

We will be on EQ next week and I wonder what run has taken the place of Zacapa? The Zacapa Old Fashioned was my favorite drink of all time!

When we were on Reflection in February, it was Bumbu.  It's not bad, but it's banana flavored. 

 

They also had Brugal 1888, which was quite good, and I would like to think they could make an Old Fashioned with it.

On Silhouette last week, it was Brugal 1888. The other drink is an Azteca.

Still Zacapa 23 on the Solstice, as of 4/15/23.   Their Bourbon was Bullet; fair, but not premium in my opinion.

Distributor supply issues is what I was told on Silhouette last year. 

 

Brutal 1888 makes a fine rum old fashioned.  So does Bacardi 8  or Bacardi 10.  Of the three, I would choose Brugal 1888 first.

This came up back in March and I was informed that Zacapa was still available on Equinox. We're not on her until May 13th so I'm not holding out hope they're supply will last that long.

I always ask for it to be made with bourbon.
