Our first order of business is a good cup of real, made to order, coffee as soon as we get up.

We would have the butler bring us coffee with Baileys every morning and enjoy it on our balcony. I highly recommend it as a great way to start your day. 🙂

I wonder if I can order it by the carafe?  One coffee with Bailey's is just not enough as they are so delicious.

It's YC -- of course you can. We usually had enough for 2 cups each. If you want more, you should order it separately. Que horrible if it is not fresh. LOL

I agree.  One most of our cruises we avoid room service coffee because we find it taste burnt and bitter, as it was made at midnight, boiled a couple of times, and served at 7 AM.

Our experience has always been that YC is fresh, from close by and brought right away. One butler -- Rodwyn -- would even phone us first to make sure we were awake to open the door. He was really great.

Does the easy plus  package allow you to get speciality coffees or are there venue restrictions?

Not clear to me if it's included in the easy plus package or not?   One reply here says No and the other says Yes.   I wonder which is correct?

Yes, with a few exceptions. Ask when you make a reservation for a specific venue. Pick up at a bar on your way into an place where the Easy Plus package is not honored.

As posted earlier (#2) with the list of beverages. This is for Easy Plus:

"The Easy Package covers all the above served in our bars, buffet and main restaurant. What’s more, it also includes Ocean Cay and other exclusive destinations, but does not cover the specialty restaurants and signature venues (Venchi 1878 establishments or Jean-Philippe Maury venues, MSC Virtuosa Starship Club). Valid for cruises of 7 nights and more.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT IN RESPECT TO THE SAUDI LAW, DURING THE CALLS IN SAUDI ARABIAN PORTS, ALCOHOLIC DRINKS WILL NOT BE SERVED UNTIL THE SHIP WILL BE IN INTERNATIONAL WATERS."

I think the confusion is in what people consider "specialty coffees." Coffees made with the espresso machines at all of the bars onboard are covered. Coffees made at the specialty venues like Jean Philipe are not covered.

I was interested in latte or cappucino - thanks for the info.

We "teach" the YC bartender to make what we call Holiday Coffee: over ice, 1 shot espresso, 1 shot Bailey's, 1 shot Kahlua, 1 shot Coconut Rum. We find it best just after breakfast, before moving to Bloody Marys. 🙂

Is that all at the same time?

My spouse is the true Bloody Mary lover. I usually find them too spicy and simply order Clamato and Gin. He loves it as spicy as possible. Blech!

I love tomato's on sandwiches but not tomato juice or soup.  As for Clamao, you have no fear of me ever drinking any of that.

I now have a question about the specialty coffee included in the Easy Plus package.

I understand that these should be included:

Caffè latte € 3.75
Barley coffee € 2.25
Ginseng coffee
big cup € 3.00
small cup € 2.25
