We verified my husband last year, so I don't think we need to verify his military status again, I just don't remember where we sent it.

They are now using SheerID to confirm military eligibility as well as AARP. We don't have to resubmit each year for DH military, but I do have to call and ask it get added. They look it up and then it shows up.
