It appears on average Patti burns "a few more" calories per day than Jamman

Objection!  Assumes facts not in evidence as it is well Documented that Jamman is the master of the 12 oz and the 16 oz curl.

@Jamman54! Thank you and Patti for your tandem review! I love the repartee between you two, the humor in the posts, and I think by posting after a port-intensive cruise, you benefit from spur of the moment posts, and have the time to enjoy yourselves, and to reflect, research and recover once back home. You both have created an amazing story that current and lurking cruisers will appreciate. I've read a couple of your cruise reports, and, now, I want to go to husband daycare!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this. It's posts like these that make it all worthwhile. Though it is very time consuming, It is a way to relive the whole cruise and share photos, information, and details with our Cruise Critic family.  Because of our reviews, we have gotten to meet so many CC members while on board the various ships, and have become close friends with many of them. We met even more after we transitioned to the Journeys part of the cruise, and they were all so happy to become part of the review. Bottom line is, we enjoy doing these reviews and will continue to do so! :classic_biggrin:

Jamman54, I would also like to thank you and Patti for this review. We have never cruised with Carnival before, but we chose Venezia as our first Carnival cruise. This review makes us feel much better about our decision. Thank you again, and you guys really do work well together and I really enjoy the pictures and your writing style. I am going to look for more of your reviews 🙂

@Jamman54 sorry to waylay your review trying to send @Bronx12 a message and it's been dismantled.

@Bronx12 are you really originally from the Bronx?

No, not from the Bronx, when our daughter was young she saw the word Bronx on tv, then the name was used on one of her shows she watched, so she decided to name her puppy Bronx and then I took the name for Cruise Critic lol

Day # 5  -  9/27/23  -  Halifax, NS (1:30pm – 8pm).

We are up at 7am to a partly cloudy, chilly, 44 degree day. We are not scheduled to arrive at Halifax until 1:30pm. Looking at the bow camera, it appears that the seas are fairly calm…..

I head back to the cabin to enjoy my coffee, and will use this time to work on the pictures for the review. Patti is getting our laundry together to send out. There are a lot of things happening this morning before we get to Halifax, so at 9:30 Patti grabs the camera and heads out. I tell her that I will meet her at RoCoco later. She passes by the mid ship pool area which has now been decorated for the Festa Italiana later tonight……

I often wondered what happened to the towel animals after the takeover. Seems like a heck of a lot of work making all those towel animals every week (twice a week on the shorter cruises) for them to just get tossed into the laundry in a few hours. 🤷‍♀️

We are docking in Halifax. Captain Crescenzo got us here a half hour early!

IMG_6670-XL.jpg

IMG_6671-XL.jpg

Today our plan is to walk the Harbourwalk. Last year when we were here we did a city tour so we didn’t have the time. The last time we did the Harbourwalk was before Covid, so I’m sure some things have changed. We waited an hour for the mad rush to decline before heading off the ship at 2pm. Here are some views as we made our way to the Harbourwalk. We are docked at Pier 21…..
