Well this means I have been in the true BoB as our very first cruise went to La Rochelle and Bilbao! First night was a bit bumpy but not too bad!

Saga’s Spirit of Discovery is currently north of Spain, in the middle of Storm Domingos. 11 metre waves, everyone confined to cabins, some passengers injured due to falls.

 

I think questions will be asked about why they decided to sail into this storm.

Oh dear, not good.  I understand the other Saga ship, which was sheltering in Falmouth, has abandoned their plan to go to the Canaries, perhaps for the best.  I hope everyone who is injured makes a full recovery.

I presume pilot strikes happening still. Presuming that is why Iona is going straight to Tenerife
