More NCL consistent inconsistencies…

There were six of us on the Viva last night at Cagney’s using three Platinum vouchers and we all got two sides. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wonder it’s about cost cutting as well. Remember the days where we could order whatever so a bunch of sides  with main and that was it. At the beginning it was truly unlimited dining where we could eat each  night at a specialty .no extra taxes even on the drink package that lasted about six months in 2016 perhaps earlier. Oh I wish for those days back.

Duty-free shopping prices are up, less discounts like buy 3 and get 1 carton cigarettes "free"

 

 

Also, essentials including OTC meds, toiletries and similar products not even sold in duty-free, let alone in the tiny gift shops.

 

 

Be prepared, stock up and keep them handy with one's carry-on, especially ... 10+ days with sea days ahead.

Observation Lounge - a quick tour ... observed a # of campers laying across some of the sofa loungers, as reported & seen by other CC'ers.  Compared to the Joy's OL, this is much smaller.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

See those bare footed ones, look closely by zooming in. Where's the spray sanitizer to sanitize and sterilize in between 😤😷😱 ... not cool 

 

 

 

 

IMHO, replace some of the those furniture that appeal to these hogs.  Didn't see any blue beach towels

Let's walk thru the main pool for steerage - apparently drained empty with safety netting across it, closed.  Hot tubs are working and oh mine, pretty darn cozy in that shared public bath basinet for adults. 

 

 

 

 

 

Looks like there's room in the bath for 1 or 2 more ... no thanks, limited # of 3 days thermal and $99 day pass for sale onboard if needed.

Enjoying your trip report on Prima.  We will be getting on in about three weeks.  Looking at these pictures makes me feel fortunate to have paid  extra to get the vibe passes.

Our cabin has been refreshed, clean & made up when we came back mid afternoon from going undercover "spying" earlier. Pillows got re-arranged differently.

 

 

Time to kick off the shoes and snack time,  a full plate of fresh sliced fruits - these are sweet, unlike the ones prior - provisioned & sourced in Barcelona. New crates of food, vegetables & produce will be loaded on arrival in NY next Friday. 

 

 

Sunset was 5:49 PM - fair weather clouds & clear skies outside. Change of plans, going to Food Republic tonight for dinner & going to see if the Virtual Queue will get us to see the 9:30 PM Donna Summer Show Live.

Food Republic - a good dinner, ordered 4 plates of Sushi rolls - used 3 dining credits to share among 4 of us.

Tiger roll

Pork belly bao

Salt & Pepper Calamari

Dragon & Tiger roll

Lamb

Kim Chee fried rice w beef

Vietnamese beef pho dai

 

 

Service - just meet standards expected, nothing above & beyond ... And, our server handed 4 of these to us to fill out 🤔 really, hmmm.

Nope. It's sold out. The concierge is searching for a way to get one for us. Rumor is that they had some on day one. Just some very small Christmas tree ornaments right now and stuffed Pr1mas.
