Two Midwesterners escape winter on the Eurodam.

Love Pinnacle Bar too - that's often our "go to" spot before dinner.  The cucumber mojito there is very tasty!  The sauvignon blanc is probably 13 Celsius.  I actually like it - and Nobilo, which was the previous one.

I watched the sailaway and saw the people waving orange flags - didn't realize that was you!  Have a great day today!

Lamar will not be playing Saturday but I have confidence in Snoop.  The weather forecast is snow, turning to rain.  It will be a messy game! Glad you will be able to see it.

I’m interested in your comments on the daytime onboard activities.  Thank you for taking us along.

I heard OBJ and Zay were sitting out too.   Still should be a good game.  Go Ravens!

I asked our concierge onboard the headcount.  She looked at her screen, hemmed and hawed and said 2000.  Take it with a grain of salt. 🧂

Riding was excellent.  I had planned on just doing the land portion but rough seas took away the in the sea experience.  So we rode longer.   Few pictures of the sights, that will be next.  Our guide Mario took videos and photos of all of us.  The HA photographer was there too.

Will get photos of the new bar menu.  So unremarkable I forgot.  Unlike being citrusy like so many Kiwi SB it was weedy and saline.

Thanks for replying, that wine sounds like one to be avoided.!

Good morning, we are off the East Coast of Cuba this morning on our way to Falmouth Jamaica tomorrow.  It is cloudy and warm and our cabin is now very comfortable.  Even with the heat outside we have our setting at the hallway point, right in between blue and red. I have many photos to catch up on but will share our dinner last night.  Two of HA menu favorites were on offer last night so I had two mains for dinner.  I had chilli rellenos for a starter and pork belly with sweet potatoes as my main.  John had seafood deviled eggs and CO special jambalaya.  He finished it off with a heavenly red velvet cake.  We were given a 5 pm table that we really like. I hope we keep it for the duration but I think our waiter friend is trying to get us back on deck 3.  I hope we can stay here.  It was in a quiet area with unfilled big 8 or 10 tops.  Our food came quickly and hot. Have a nice Friday.

The drink menu from the Ocean Bar.  They still list the Penicillin cocktail but I haven't checked to see if they have the advertised Laphroaig.  The Sauvignon Blanc we didn't care for was Celsius.

When I go horseback riding I always think of the horses on HMC.   Here is the bag of treats I brought for them.  I cut them up because they drop whole apples into the sand.  Our bag we received in our cabin.  No CO bag.

I will share some previous cruise horseback riding experience on previous cruises.  My first HA horseback riding excursion was in Skagway and it was a ride to a scenic valley.  The horses were very wide draft horses and the side by side movement was rather hard on my back but the valley was absolutely beautiful.  The next time was in Spain in a town near Malaga September 2018 and we rode beautiful Andalusian horses.  The scenery was beautiful.  Next was last January in Puerto Aisen and we left the port and headed out into the mountain district.  It was windy and rainy off and on, I wore my reusable plastic raincoat over my jacket, it served the purpose.

My last ride before yesterday was a story I will tell for the rest of my life.  In Buenos Aires I did riding on the Pampas and it was during a spell of extreme heat.  We rode retired polo ponies and this was a very different ride. It went for over two hours and the guide said I could go fast if I chose, that was a change.  The problem was the heat.  After an hour and a half I said to my friend I was going to have to bail out and have the promised vehicle pickup, she was going to do the same thing. They gave us a bottle of water to drink that I poured on my head I was that hot.  Finally after laying in the ditch on mowed off agaves the truck showed up 30 minutes later.  We passed the rest of riders still riding. I went inside and ran my head under the tap.  After that I looked at AccuWeather and it was 105 degrees.

Photos are of Argentina adventure. Me trying to cool off. The wonderful barbecue after the ride and our group taking off.  I will try find the rest in a while.

Today's activities.  Barbie at 3 pm in the World Stage.  Captain's welcome at 7:15. Captain Joost Eldering.  It may be gala night because we have a towel animal and chocolates.  We are dining in Tamarind tonight.  Happy hour has reappeared for the first time this cruise. One hour at Billboard.
