Is there a cut off to cancel?

Recommended Posts

Helloooooooo Pros!

Question:  We are cruising Sunday. Debating cancelling Chops.  Is there a cut off to cancel to get a refund to our bank account vs. cancelling to get a credit on board?  I thought I remember reading somewhere that at a certain point cancellation would become onboard credits?  Or did I imagine this (completely possible).

It’s either 72 or 48 hours (can’t remember which) after that it’s OBC

Cruise planner typically closes 2-3 days prior to sail date.

Thank you Both!  Since we already paid for it, I think we will wait to cancel so we can spend frivolously.

It will be refundable obc.  If not spent it will be refunded to your credit card.

I thought that by a certain time there was a fee to cancel.

I don't think a fee has ever been the policy for RCI.

Wow

I had no idea, and I must say; I believe I have violated this policy and never been charged.
Good information; thank you.
Any day you learn something new is a good day.

This may indeed be like the corkage fee "seldom enforced"
