Did anyone have a full Alaska Season on their bingo card?  I certainly didn't. I figured a few trips to Alaska but never a full season. That's going to be wild.

I had never been interested in doing an Alaskan cruise. But having spent a week last February in Fairbanks I changed my mind. 

 

Now I am thinking what better way to spend my birthday in 2026 then to be on Brilliant going to Alaska.

Alaska was their #1 request, so due to the demand they will be selling placeholders, dubbed,"Alaska Fron(tier) of the Line Pass" $500 per sailor Sea Terrace or higher, $1K per Rockstar, or $2500 per Mega RS. They will go on sale "this Summer"

Oct 17-25, 2025 from Miami

April 7-12, 2026 from Los Angeles

Basically you're going to put down a 'placeholder' deposit to go to the front of the line when the Seattle itinerary goes on sale this summer. You can purchase the Placeholder starting on May 8 according to the information released by Virgin Voyages.

My guess is that they will repeat the same 5 night itinerary listed as the LA Mermaiden for 3 additional sailings before they do the Hollywood Sunsets and  Cali to Canada sailings.

I may have to check into purchasing a MNVV from someone. Mine all expire in December 2025 and my next cruise isn't until September. I would definitely try to jump on one of the 5 nights and going to do Alaska for sure.

I'm eyeing the 10-day New York to Quebec City. I really hope it's at a price point that works for me, since I'd want to tack on some time in Quebec at the end.

I'm also really looking forward to them sailing out of my home base in 2026 and beyond. Overall really stoked about these new offerings!

They're asking for nearly $5000 for a cabin on the 5 Day NY Maiden in a sea terrace and over $7000 for the Miami Maiden. I can't imagine what the Alaska season or Canal crossing sailings will go for.

Just adding that if you want the $500 Alaska Fron(tier) pass--basically a $500 deposit that gurantees you early booking when the Alaska itineraries come out, on May 8 there will be a form you or your TA completes.
