New Celebrity Casino rules just came out.  First reaction is that the Classic Drink package for Sapphire and above is gone. (unless I read it wrong)

What rules?

First thing I noticed were slots were 1pt for $1 spent now they are 1pt for $5. So even though they say they adjusted the required points down to level up, they are exactly the same.

True up through Amethyst, but it looks like Sapphire and higher is easier to get right?

The biggest takeaway I received from the email communication was that for the next year we can enjoy our Blue Chip Club perks for whatever tier we are currently at, but once the new program goes into play on 07/21/2025 you get wiped. From that date forward all points are wiped on an annual basis.

That's not how I read it.  I read it to say that starting August 1, 2024 we all get wiped.  Anyone else read it differently?

My apologies, it appears you are correct.

I do find the Captain’s Club part confusing. You have longer to book but must sail almost immediately (by Oct. 30). That didn’t make much sense to me. There was a lot of information to absorb in that email!

Just reached Amethyst.  Amethyst goes down from unlimited digital photo to only 1? Lose $100 Free Play and in place give Effy Credit.

When I reached Amethyst I was excited about the unlimited digital photos.  When I went to inquire about how to receive them, the people in the photo gallery looked at me like I had grown a second head..."no ma'am, we are not aware of this perk."  Never got any when they were supposedly unlimited, sure am not going to waste my time trying to get one download!  And I completely agree...the Effy credit is a bummer...would much rather have the $100 free play.

Am I really surprised by any of this???  Naw...

How do I know what level I am?  Well, I'm about 99.99% sure I'm just Pearl, since I've only sailed X once (April 2022 for 5 nights).

But I'm booked on side-to-side in November, both on casino offers (free inside for me, paid discounted fare for non-existent 2nd person).

So, since I don't sail again until November, I'll start over, correct?

This was included in my email, so depending on dates it appears the free play is still honored?

The way I read this, if you have any cruises prior to July 31, 2025, Booked and PAID in FULL BEFORE August 1, 2024,  you will get your ‘old’ tier level cash for that cruise. Thus, I just paid in full for B2B cruises that sail out of Sydney in March 2025.

If you book a new cruise AFTER August 1, 2024:

    And you are Elite, you can get your tier level cash if you sail by Oct 30, 2025;

    And you are Elite Plus, you can get your tier level cash if you sail by Jan 31, 2025;

    And if you are Zenith, you can get your tier level cash if you sail by July 31, 2025

Correct. (Unless you have cruising status on Royal Caribbean, that you can tier-match to Elite or above on Celebrity.)

On the Beyond now, as I understand the benefits for Ruby ,Sapphire +  etc. will remain in effect for ! year starting 8/1/24...freeplay and beverage packages  to continue ....

Also told from Blue Chip that an email will be out in a few days to clear up any confusion with the Beverage packages....

Stay tuned......lol

Typical Celebrity move. Roll out a new program with lots of information missing with no explanation. This happened with the cookie policy change, removing butlers from suites etc. Now they are removing the drink package for Sapphire and above. I have 6 cruises booked from august 2024 to march of 2025 when these were booked it was the policy that classic drink package would be included. It would not be fair and will piss a lot of people off if they decide to remove it on bookings that were made prior to the new program.
