Post a Cruise Photo
Whenever I hear someone say this I'm reminded of the story of the dinner guest who told his hostess "That was a wonderful meal. What kind of pots and pans do you use?" In other words, the type of camera is the least important part of a great photo. :D
My intention wasn't to find out who had the "best" or "worst" camera. I was being overly curious as I did research previous to buying my new camera and was hoping to strike up some convos re specs and such....maybe even find someone with the same model and get some tips. With a few exceptions (digital zoom and stabilization) my old Kodak took just as good pictures as my new Canon, despite me being the operator. :)

Keep the pics comin' guys!
Confusing display in Elevator on Ryndam...
The arrow says down, but the letters say "UP".

The "UP" stands for Upper Promenade.
That caused no end of confusion on the Rotterdam in April, too. Many times my hubby and I had to explain it to other passengers in the elevators!

The second is a hill town in Corsica from our cruise around Italy, etc., in May of 2007!
RevNeal....your pictures are fantastic!! They make me want to book a cruise visiting HMC and I'm not the beach type.

PGOTS
I was thinking the exact same thing! And I don't usually like the beach.

That is an incredible sunset photo, Diane. You other photo of the Diamond Princess is beautiful, too! What kind of camera do you use?
Thank you sooooo much!!!! I actually took this photo while we were having dinner in Sabintini's. It was through the window!!!!!!

I have a Sony H5. This one was taken with the H1. Photography has been my passion for over 35 years! There is a lot of practice beyond these shots :D Check out my galleries if you have the time. Lots of photos there.

Cheers, Denise

Taken from the Regal Princess on 9/11/04. This was an incredible morning to cruise into NYC!! It was truly an emotional end to a glorious 18 day journey from San Francisco.
revneal-I love your post #22. Does the ship actually squeeze thru their???
You're welcome. And, yes ... she does ... but it's a TIGHT fit. :)
I have more pictures showing how little clearance there is between the side of the ship and the side of the canal in my photo gallery from my Panama Canal Cruise aboard the Zaandam in 2004. Take a look (link to my photo galleries is below).
