Thanks for the smile! Tell your brother that the saying is actually, "Reno is so close to hell, you can see Sparks," but I like his saying, too! Not too many people know where Sparks is, and many others think that Reno is a short drive from Las Vegas (we're actually closer to San Francisco!).

Can't wait for Radio's picture review tomorrow. Happy shopping Mrs. Radio!

Hello everyone ! I didn’t make to the Welcome Aboard show last night, but I will will try to go to the Production Show (Generations).

There is also a late night comedy show with David Sayh. . .

Tonight is the first formal night (the Carnival Capers calls tonight “Cruise Elegant Night) The Captains Cocktail Party is just before dinner.

We had a very nice dinner last night in the Bacchus Dining Room. The service so far has been very good. . And the meal was good too ! By the time diner was finished (1015), I was down for the count ;-)

Today looks like it will be a very sunny day. . . There is no rain in the forecast.

The Captain told us last night that “I will try to find all 3 Ports this week” ha ha ha. . . .

Here are a few pics from early morning. . More pics later today !

Thanks for tuning in. . .

I got it wrong you had the right saying. We come there every year with opur bowling team for our league bowl off. We usually stay at the Grand Sierra. I am enjoying this review even though we are sailing on the Liberty in 23 days. Take care.

Hello everyone. . . We are just about ready to leave (830AM), and it should take about 4 hours to get to the Cruise Terminal. (95N, NJ Turnpike, Lincoln Tunnel)

I plan to get there by around 12:30P. . . We must stop at Starbucks on the way. :o

Hopefully, the traffic shouldn't be too bad. . . See you on board !

Have fun tonight Radio! Enjoy each day because, boy, does it go fast! My DS and DIL just left-they were on the cruise with us and they are wondering what to do about dinner and WHAT we will do without chocolate melting cake for dessert. :( We were in cabin 4228, corner aft wrap balcony. You probably have the same stewards we did. Darned if I can remember their names now! The assistant steward looks like a very young Jim Carrey. Tell them Karen says hi! HAVE A BLAST! BTW, the Capt. is great. Very funny, personable and even walked around the Lido pool deck a few days. At the repeaters cocktail party, he actually came into the audience and talked to people.

Hi Karen - We are cruising on miracle on 10/20 for a honeymoon cruise. We are in cabin 5266 aft wraparound. Do you have any pictures of the cabin you could send me??

enewedding, did you play any of the trivia games with big sexy, pip or binky? try your luck at bingo or the casino?

Koko...I did lots of trivia and bingo...and I have the ship on a stick to prove it! Only a few slots in the casino, I'm not a big fan of parting with cash ;-)

Pip was a riot and I liked Big Sexy....Binky was a bit annoying but not too bad.

Here is a youtube link for Stateroom #5266. It is from the Carnival Spirit, which is the sister ship to the Carnival Miracle. The layout is exact.

ENJOY your HONEYMOON :D

Thanks! I've just heard from a few people though that the aft wraparound suites on deck 5 are smaller and different for some reason... Not sure why, but I still hope it's nice! I'm sure the best part will be having that huge balcony though... Can't beat that!

Oh - and Congratulations to you!!!

Hello everyone. . . Today has been a day full of activities. The weather has been good. . . We made it to about 78f, with no rain. We had a light breeze of about 10knts.

We started with the Travel Talk for our ports of call this week, hosted by our CD (Lenny Halliday) There was of course the Jackpot Bingo, and the Fun deck Games. We also participated In some Generations Trivia.

We were supposed to have a Cruise Critic get together at Jeeves Lounge at 2PM, but we were in the Trivia Game at Jeeves, and I didn’t see any CC members.

Mrs Radio and I also participated in a Carnival Scavenger Hunt, which was fun. We might go to Karaoke, and the Big Show tonight after dinner.

The Cruise Elegant Night dinner will feature Lobster, and I am sure I will have one (at least)

We still have about 900nm until we get to San Juan, PR. . . Here are a few pics from today.

Thanks for tuning in !
