Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bar

Just got a notice that on my upcoming cruise (on CB) I can be one of the first to experience the first-ever Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bar. The announcement reads:

It's a rock and roll fantasy come to life. On your upcoming cruise, you can be among the first to experience the first ever Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Bar!

Sip on themed specialty cocktails. Peruse a variety of authentic memorabilia, including handwritten lyrics from Hall of Fame inductees. Take home unique keepsakes that celebrate the music genre's long history.

Plus your cruise will feature engaging rock-and-roll-themed activities — everything from parties and dance classes to game shows and rock concerts on Movies Under the Stars®. Get ready to rock!

Anybody know anything about what this is? Venue? Days of operation? Hours? Or perhaps it really is rolling (pardon the pun) out next week for the very first time. Seems like it might be the antithesis of "elevator music", no?

We're on the CB right now, and it rolled out on this cruise. Basically Club Fusion has been redecorated in a rock and roll decor, and the house band has played each night based on a specific theme - "Rock-n-Roll Romance", "50's and 60's dance party", "Country Jambo Rock-out", etc. We haven't gone to too many of the events, so can't comment on any giveaways or other features.

It looks like everyone likes rock and roll?? I have to get out my leather jacket and that greasy stuff I use to put in my hair. :D

Tony

I think the idea is rather silly.

It will probably be at least as successful as the "Night Sky Lounge"

that was on Regal.

And, the funny thing about the cruise critic "why we like it"

is nearly word-for-word from the Princess Press release.

Makes me think who ever liked it had never seen anything

but the press release.
