Cru1s1ng2009 Posted February 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2013 alot and many.LOL!! on a seven day cruise i will have about 3 drinks a day but to be honest with you, on one of those days I get hammered so I have like 5 or 6. each about 7 dollars give or take and so my calculator says about 200 but i must be fibbing because it always ends up being more. count on a $400 PP bar bill.
trident777 Posted February 27, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted February 27, 2013 5 of 6 is your definition of getting "hammered"? Lol, wow! It would probably take me twice that amount to get hammered, I could easily drink 6 beers in a day, or even through the evening!
adira Posted March 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2013 My dh and I drink a lot (I'll defend us by saying that we are teachers!), and I honestly have no idea how much we drank on our last cruise, just that I am happy that it looks like we will be going into this one with some OBC to buffer the pain of the final bill. I suggest being drunk the final night to ease the sting.
fantasy1029 Posted March 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2013 Alot! haha I like Jack & Coke and a drink that Carnival has called yellow bird. I also really like pina coladas :)

Krazy Kruizers Posted May 23, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 23, 2013 We will each have a Grey Goose on the rocks before dinner. Then at dinner we will either have a glass of wine or another Grey Goose. After dinner we will have a liquor in one of the lounges as our nightcap.

34TigerLily Posted May 25, 2013 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2013 Neither DH nor I ever drink on a cruise. When we are in a suite, we always trade-out the free mini bar set up for diet Cokes and bottled water. I like to bank my calories for dessert!:):):)
Rare JustinPlusLauren Posted May 27, 2013 #10 Share Posted May 27, 2013 If we're in port....usually just wine with dinner, or a fancy mixed drink at night. If we're on the ship all day, I might have a beer out by the pool, and then wine with dinner or a martini at night. I love the girly drinks like daiquiris, pina colada, etc. but also wouldn't mind a corona with a lime! So I guess it could range from 1-3 drinks? I don't normally drink that much at home but will definitely have more on vacation! But never enough to ruin my plans for the next day.
JawjaFatBoy Posted May 27, 2013 #11 Share Posted May 27, 2013 I only average 1-2 drinks a day, usually while attending shows. However, I usually bring 8-12 liters of various liquors back for the bar at home!:D
Calico Jack Sparrow Posted May 27, 2013 #12 Share Posted May 27, 2013 Mixers just kill the taste of the booze. Not to mention, adding a lot of unwanted extra calories. On my last cruise I drank most of two bottles of Patron plus $400 worth of shots on board. That does not include whatever drinking we did ashore.:D
ducklite Posted May 30, 2013 #13 Share Posted May 30, 2013 I don't drink spirits or beer. My husband and I usually drink a bottle of wine or maybe a little more per day on average. It depends on the cruise though. We definitely drink more on a Caribbean cruise than a port intensive Med cruise.
cb at sea Posted June 3, 2013 #14 Share Posted June 3, 2013 A frozen, fruity drink (or two) by the pool in the afternoon.....maybe a couple of beers, instead. Before dinner, several vodka tonics....(3-4) and then we eat...and I'm done!
Gunner22aa Posted June 4, 2013 #15 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Normally a couple of beer a day plus a glass or two of wine on the balcony with DW. For her the wine and normally a Mojito after dinner. There have certainly been exceptions though!
ladycooki3 Posted June 6, 2013 #16 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I drink Stella and may 4-6 a day
SiBay Posted July 11, 2013 #17 Share Posted July 11, 2013 A couple of beers beside the pool around lunchtime, a couple more in the pub whilst waiting on the girls getting ready for dinner. One with dinner, or maybe a glass of wine then a few G&Ts whilst relaxing in one if the lounges. Finish off with a Disarrono before bed and I'm done :)
3DBeach Posted August 1, 2013 #18 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Usually DH will get us a drink of the day in the afternoon then we have some wine with dinner...then bud light for him and vodka w/soda for me at the casino each night ;) I would say 5-6 each per day. Bookish Angel Posted August 1, 2013 #19 Share Posted August 1, 2013 margaritas or Cape Cods. We are not big drinkers and I would rather save the calories for something I love way more than alcohol. Hubby and I don't drink any wine.
DebBrown Posted August 1, 2013 #20 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Last cruise, 4 day on the Paradise, bar bill was $460. We also used $100 in drink coupons.
JustCruiseMe Posted October 4, 2013 #21 Share Posted October 4, 2013 It will be zero for us because we don't drink alcohol, but we used to, but now see no point in it. I don't need much to relax and DH definitely doesn't need anything, he can fall asleep at the drop of a hat. I'm jealous of that but sometimes get upset with him about it too when he goes to sleep in the living room when guests are here, it's rude, I wake him up. Sinppu Posted October 19, 2013 #23 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Less than five per cruise, if it's just the two of us. On our latest cruise the 5 of us consumed 20 bottles of wine and I bought two drinks on top of that during the whole week. So that would three glasses of wine per dinner every evening plus two extra drinks. The difference is huge when we have friends with us :eek::confused:;)
randomheroishere Posted November 7, 2013 #24 Share Posted November 7, 2013 I hate for this to be my first posting but I kinda feel horrible about this. This is a normal day for me, For breakfast I have 1 or 2 mimosa, then around lunch ill have about 3 or so mixed drinks, with dinner ill have about 2 glasses of wine or beer, then at night around 5 or so mixed drinks while dancing and partying. But I never get out of hand. Just saying it sounds like a lot. I do drink lots of water and I am always moving around. on my last cruise we spend between both of us around 1400 just on booze. skeeter195 Posted November 21, 2013 #25 Share Posted November 21, 2013 On our October Breakaway cruise we had free drink cards from the casino so it was more than usual. I never drank so much beer in my life. I figured for the week I had over 75 Peronis. And usually 3 other drinks per day, usually martinis, and about 1 bottle of wine for the week. Thank goodness for the drink card or our bill would have been around $1200 for the 2 of us.
