Parking Options and Prices at or near Miami Port?

I've heard there is port parking at $20 per day. What other parking options (with a shuttle to the port) can we find nearby, and how much are they? Thanks for any help!

That being said I'm parking at the port and this is my 3rd cruise out of Miami this year.

I, too, always park at the port. It's worth the $20.00 per day to have peace of mind.

We always park at the port. Peace of mind and not worrying about the car is worth the $20/day. Also, less hassle with luggage.

I'm not sure about Miami, but you could check with local hotels. In west coast ports, the nearby hotels often offer a 'cruise parking' bonus with a one night's stay, including a shuttle to/from the port.

Miami is the only port where I will not even consider the off-site options. So many times I read people waiting an hour plus for a shuttle and then pay for a cab anyways. The garage at the port is so easy and security is constant.

Other ports, we park off site.

Miami, we park at the port.

There is a site called Safe Cruise Parking.com They have shuttles back and forth to the cruise port. The cost is $10.00 per day. All reviews sound good.

I would advise parking at the port. It's not cheap, but it's convenient and secure.
