St. Bart's Coffee Company (Ft. Lauderdale Beach).

What a great view of the ocean from there!

The Floridian on Las Olas, Lesters Diner on 84.

If you want Ihop, there is one on Federal right around the corner from the port.

N Y Deli has the BEST breakfast food! Check out their reviews on Yelp.

After breakfast just drive south on the same road (A1A) for about 6 miles, go over the big drawbridge, turn left on Eisenhower Blvd, and you're in the port!

Where are they located?

Any thoughts/reviews from locals about Lesters Diner??

I recommended it above, it's good.

N Y Deli is on Galt Ocean Mile, in the Winn Dixie plaza. (The OP said it didn't need to be near the port).

I didn't see where the OP said it didn't need to be near the port.

My absolute favorite breakfast place is OB House in Himmarshee Village.

There is always a line and bring your wallet. Breakfast for three with no alcohol was $83 and was worth it.
