Water taxi in Bermuda

De and I are book to Bermuda August 2016. Do the water taxis still operate, if so how late and cost?

The water taxis are used by locals to commute and get to school, etc. They're not going anywhere.

What the OP is calling 'water taxis' is actually the government run ferry service.

A while ago there was some muttering about someone setting up a private water taxi service but I never heard that it came to anything.

Surf SUP at Daniel's Head recently posted on the FB page that they have water taxi service between Dockyard and their beach- this is the only reference I can find regarding it.... Wondering if it's ever got off the ground??

Anyone know how you find the water taxi instead of the ferry once you're at the dockyard? It sounds like a neat alternative.

Like I posted, there has been nothing said about anyone using it which leads me to believe the service didn't "fly". However, I've been known to be wrong.:D

Reading the comments at the end of the article, it seemed like quite a few didn't think the business would succeed.
