Check your VIFP offers - secret casino rate

Recommended Posts

Check your VIFP offers!!! I found a Casino offer that they never notified me about. Saved me $20 on a Balcony, upgraded Interior to OV for $10 and getting $50 casino cash on each room.

This seems to be a really good sale. We booked at Interline rate which is usually better than Casino, but lucked out this time... 15 minutes w/ my PVP ended up saving me $110

The new casino sale seems to have shown up on Tuesday night. I had just booked this weekend and was just happened to check My Cruise Deals and saw the new offer. My PVP quickly switched me to the new rate code and dropped the price by $200 plus added fun chips.

We sail in October and I can't find a Casino offer under my VIFP offers.

I'm sure Casino offers are targeted to those who have played, but we haven't been on a cruise in a few years (SAD) and we've never won or lost big, just play for a little fun.

Where would I find this?

On the Carnival site, under Manage, VIFP, then click on My Offers on the left hand side.

I was able to take advantage of this and saved $400! Awesome!

Good for you!!! :D

There is never anything extra special there for me:(

I figure there will never be anything special there for me, because my last cruise in November, I spent less than half I normally do in the casino, and my upcoming cruise, I intend to avoid the casino other than an hour or so in the morning. Casino on ship, casino in home town, all getting tighter than , all just a place to dump my hard earned money. For me, that is going to stop! When the play no longer is enjoyable, or gives no return...time to move on to other fun activities.

Well I got a ES booking and received casino rate on Saturday which got us $120 OBC and this morning it changed again still under casino rate and we got another $40 OBC. Only thing I won't get the casino cash.

I had an offer that expired today. Booked Alaska cruise for nice deal about a week ago. Had no plans to take a cruise but this definitely motivated me.

I just happened to go online and find it but in the meantime i noticed i also had an offer that had expired April 13 that i never knew about!

I had gotten offers before but it has been at least a year since my last offer.

I agree both the casinos on ship & home town casinos are all getting so tight it is no longer enjoyable. On my last cruise I played in the casino a total of 3 hours and it was an 8 day cruise.

Well dont feel too bad, my husband and i lost so much money that they gave us both free drinks after 5 days and then sent us free cruise offers for both of us which we are taking advantage of it.

At least they give you a free cruises in return, RCL we did the same and they gave us nothing, ever. Its nice of Carnival to do that and very smart as well. They now have my future business since they take of their customers. And did i say i was a Diamond member with RCL its a shame since i really liked their ships.

No casino offer for us. Our next cruises (B2B) are January 2016.

For this past January B2B, we received a Casino Rate on our most expensive cruise (Aruba, Curacao) and since we booked ES, we were able to price drop to it and received $320 in OBC. It was $370 price differance & already paid in full so we lost our $50 OBC which explains why we only got $320 OBC.

Hopefully, as we get closer to January, we'll see another Casino Offer.
