Pearl returns from refurbishment

I'm excited to see pics too! DH isn't a huge fan of the number of passengers on the BA+ class, so I'm thinking he would love the Jewel class.

Wow thanks for the link ClevelandCruisin !!! I will be boarding her on Friday for the 7 night western Caribbean cruise. Now a lil more excited to be some of the first to enjoy the upgrades.

She's all refreshed but missed a large part of the charter season out of Miami this year. Next year she's going to miss it again. She's a beautiful ship. Saw some photos of her under going dry dock renovations from crew on the ship. She's come back together nicely! Wish they were sending her to Australia instead of the Jewel. I'd definitely hop on knowing she's had a massive overhaul. :D

We have sailed the Jewel Class ships several times, almost as great as the Sun. I am anxious to hear the reports on the Pearl.

We're booked on the 6/25 sailing, and I can't wait. Just found the linked article with pictures from drydock / after. Looks fabulous.

we much prefer the jewel class size ships.

2 weeks from today I'll be on her, can't wait!

If anyone is on Pearl now - let us know if she still has the palm tree lampposts all around the pool area - and if she still has little fish on the hallway carpeting facing the front of the ship ? And of course pictures of anything new would be greatly appreciated by all !!! Was buffet area refurbished?

We sail the Pearl this Friday! I'm READY! Love the picture that was in link at the beginning of this message. Sort of reminds me of the Escape. I wonder how different the cabins look!

Just on Dawn... Palm trees gone... Fish were on carpet! Beautiful Job with refurb. We LOVED the cruise! Everything was excellent.

Can't wait to see photos of the updated ship!

Sounds like there was no redesign so the features we are looking forward to will still be there. We are sailing on her May 21. Looking forward to pix from those sailing earlier!

I hope they have the better photo system where photo's are in your folder and not on the walls.

The refurbished Gem moved to that system along with computers so you could swipe your card adn all your pictures would show up. I imagine the Pearl will be similar.

Actually the charters are moving to New Orleans with the Pearl. At least with Sixthman
