New Casino Offers - Premier and Ultra

My Premier listings come up (but are buried in with a bunch of others - I have to look for the "Special Offer" notation). I don't get anything for the Ultra yet.

My Premier offers have always been PC4. For me, it's just a reduced fare and $300 casino cash. YMMV.

There's a great price for an inside on Splendor on 1/24/16 7 night Western for $209! 11/7/14 on Breeze 8 night Eastern for $309 inside.

Still, it annoys me that BOTH years, the Ultra cruise has been offered after I've already booked a Premier, including air and pre-cruise hotel and scheduled the time off work.

Couldn't they pick a week that doesn't already have something going on for the casino?

<stomps foot, scowls and whines "it's not fair!">

We were told last year that the Ultra would always be at the end of the year with the offers going out Jun/Jul ish. It is supposed to be based on if you book previous Premier cruises. We did go last year and it was jam packed with give aways, casino parties, perks etc. The prizes were awesome.

New set of premier offers hit select VIFP members today with offers into 2016. Also the Ultra on 2 cruises. December 5th on Breeze and the other on the Magic. My first time offered Ultra so I am pretty excited. So check your offers, I hear Ultras book out pretty quickly with a very limited amount.

Yes, we just got them via email.

Too bad we would have to fly to get on one. Nothing from West Coast that I see.

Then I suppose we'll have to skip it next year as well. I've got the Koningsdam booked for Thanksgiving '16 - so that eats up my (free time) calendar for that part of the year. Haven't sailed HAL in 50 years!

The Ultra Premier fliers are supposed to be mailed to arrive July 21 thru 29. The Ultra Premier email was sent today. Both of these will show the amount of casino cash you have available. My PVP said the Ultra cruises are selling quickly and there are 100 cabins available per sailing.

Ultra prizes in the email show, "$75,000 in total cash and prizes including Apple Watch, Samsung 60" TV, Apple iPhone, Apple MacBook, Apple iPad, Carnival Vista European experience, and many more."

Ultra sailings: Carnival Magic from Galveston November 29th and Carnival Breeze December 5th. I also see 9 Premier cruises in the email from November thru mid-January.

Happy cruise shopping!

Thank you for posting this! Haven't gotten the email yet just had offer in vifp and when I called they had no info. The Vista European experience has my interest 100%. Very excited.

You are very welcome. Good luck on the Breeze Ultra Premiere cruise! I'm curious to know what that Carnival Vista European experience is too.

My Ultra offer (P4L) is "just" $300 cash, same as my Premier offers. An inside on Breeze for me (as a solo; just a reduced fare - nothing close to a free cabin for me) would be $80 less than my Premier on Sunshine. But Sunshine is 11 nights compared to 8 nights on Breeze and has great ports.

While I'd like to go on the Ultra sailing, I'll just stick with the Premier, especially since I've already booked my air both ways and my pre-cruise hotel and gotten the time off approved.

Maybe next year I'll get a spring Premier offer for post-tax-season and just wait to see if I get an Ultra at the end of the year that I can actually use instead of this silly overlap.

Still, going to write to the Players Club and tell them how ridiculous it is for them to continue to offer these Ultra cruises at the same time as there are Premier sailings!

Good luck to you all on the Ultra sailings! Have fun and win money!! :D

When I was on last years Ultra cruise, every invited guest was guaranteed a prize. Do you know if it is the same for this years Ultra cruise? I received the new offer and noticed in the terms and conditions, all the way at the bottom it says "Guests are not guaranteed to receive an ULTRA prize".

I do not know the answer to that Jenny. Sorry.

Does anyone know if they will offer other Ultra Premiere dates?

It is my understanding there are only 2 Ultra Premier cruises this year. Last year there was only one. If the same trend continues, I would look for the next announcement around this time next year.

Someone just said there was a third added Ultra cruise for the Breeze the week of the December 13th. It won't show up as an offer if you already booked one of the other two.

That's good news for those that didn't get to book already. I am wondering if this year's Ultra cruises may not be as "exclusive" as last year. I say that because I did not book a Premier cruise this year, but I got the Ultra offer this year. The invitations seem to have been extended beyond those included last year because I saw someone else post that too.

I am wondering if that is maybe the reason why everyone is not guaranteed an Ultra gift?

I've only started doing these, but last year's Ultra (only 1 sailing offered, I think) was early December and this year's is early December. I don't think they do these more than once a year, but I'm still almost a rookie, so I could be wrong. ;)

I booked the other Ultra offered this year which is Magic on November 29th.

Any truth in the theory you don't get offers when you have a future cruise booked?

I booked 3 sailings (not Premier sailings - just casino discounted rates) where a suite was between $500-$700pp. It was that rate for ANY suite - so of course I picked the Captain's Suite (Freedom in '14, Sunshine and Conquest both this year). Since I took the last one, there have been NO offers of reduced regular sailings showing up on search results.

... and I don't count a PC7 offer as a "real" offer !

I did just book the Sunshine for next month - and paid full fare for a suite - but sailing on a non-casino rate was the ONLY way that I could collect on the nearly two grand I have coming my way in the form of cage cash -- basically loss rebates.

My cruise to ALASKA :D in Sept., is a pack and play, and I've received the premier promos, and now the ultra and new premier cruise promos, as well. I was surprised about the ultra cruise, as I have not done a premier this year (only a pack and in play in Feb.); so, yes, in my experience, you do get offers, when you have a future cruise booked.

I have three cruises booked and I received the Ultra and Elite offer. I booked the Elite one. I did the Ultra last year and it was great. Missed out on last Elite offer, as dates were no good for me. I have done four cruises so far this year, either Premier or bouncebacks.

I can say that I have experienced that in years past where I would not receive a new regular casino offer until I returned from an already booked cruise. And then usually within about a month or so after returning, I would get a new casino offer. The exception to that though were the premier cruise offers which I seem to receive on an ongoing basis. But I think since Carnival corporate took over the casino offers within the last year or so things have changed. I have received more and better offers since then including a free cruise offer from both Carnival and HAL (which I had only cruised on once prior to the free offer). And this week I received the Ultra casino offer even though I did not book a premier offer this year.

Don't think so. I always have another cruise booked.

However, I have NEVER received a bounce-back offer OR a pack-n-play offer. Those are the ones I've been told they don't give if you have another cruise booked. In fact, I'm going to cancel my 4/30/16 booking so that when I sail Sunshine I won't have anything else booked. We'll see what happens.

Used to receive just a casino (discounted) rate. Then I got my first Premier offer last summer and booked the 11/29 Freedom sailing (which overlapped the only Ultra cruise, for which I also received the offer).

Had Bermuda booked and still received the Premier offer for this spring and sailed 5/31 on Conquest. Couldn't take advantage of the next round of Premier offers, but was then able to switch my Sunshine to Premier when that came out (despite the offer stating that it was for new bookings only).

Then just received the Ultra, which again both overlap the Sunshine sailing. :(

Need to check to see what sort of cash I may get on the Bermuda cruise. Hope it's more than the usual $25 I've gotten in the past on "regular" sailings! As I've said, I am not a high roller but I do spend almost all my free time in the evenings in the casino.

I received a bounce-back offer on my just completed Liberty cruise, which I had booked under a pack n play rate. ($90 pp + taxes) I had had my Feb. 2016 Splendor cruise booked since last Feb. -I booked it while onboard Splendor! and still got the bounce-back offer letter the last night in the casino. I also just received the Premier offers. Unfortunately, none work for me. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who gets what.
