gambee Posted December 4, 2012 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I agree with all the previous posters, WJ and Izumi. The MDR has some windows but the ocean view is somewhat limited. My personal favorite was our ocean-view balcony and room service ;), although the food was not the best. You might also be able to see the ocean from Zamba/solarium grill, but I am not 100% on that one, I guess it would depend on the table.

Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted December 5, 2012 #9 Share Posted December 5, 2012 The Solerium, Izumi, portions of the main dining room that are near windows. Some parts of the ocean can be seen from Johnny Rockets if you sit outside on JR's patio. Also the Concierge Lounge if you D+, Pinnacle or have a Grand Suite or better. Langley Cruisers Posted December 5, 2012 #10 Share Posted December 5, 2012 ...and that you can't get eggs cooked to order there:eek:.. But you know it's because of the sheer number of passengers. I guess I'm always surprised by the people who are surprised by this (no offense of course!). :);) .
philip_g Posted December 5, 2012 #11 Share Posted December 5, 2012 The main dining room has windows. Kind of. I never quite figured out how they moved from one deck to another in the MDR but the deck I was always on was the same as the jogging track and the life boats. Myself, I second izumi. good food too
loman Posted December 6, 2012 #12 Share Posted December 6, 2012 I have to chuckle here. Lots of posters claim they cant see the ocean when they are on the Oasis . When did they install all this glass ?:)
Lloyd555 Posted December 6, 2012 #13 Share Posted December 6, 2012 We were fortunate to have a table by a window at the rear, port side of the Opus dining room every night. Although my first-time-cruiser sister-in-law felt a little green looking out of it, I enjoyed the view.
