Hear, Ye, Hear, Ye! (about bed width on Explorer G)

A group of Regent managers were given the assignment to measure the height of a flagpole. So they go out to the flagpole with ladders and tape measures, and they're falling off the ladders, dropping the tape measures - the whole thing is just a mess.

A Cruise Critic reader comes along and sees what they're trying to do, walks over, pulls the flagpole out of the ground, lays it flat, measures it from end to end, gives the measurement to one of the Regent managers and walks away.

After the Cruise Critic reader has gone, one Regent manager turns to another and laughs. "Isn't that just like an Cruise Critic reader, we're looking for the height and he gives us the length."

But did the CC reader take off the length of the pole that was in the ground? :)

Oh, lucky you, Rachel! Rome to Venice, I assume? Have a most marvelous time-- and thanks for bringing along the tape measure! Maybe I'll actually finally get some reservations made, before availability disappears. Don't forget the kilt.
