How do i cancel a cruise

If you have a travel agent, call and get the TA to cancel it for you. EASY!

OP is looking to self-cancel on the Princess website. So you can be 99.9% sure he self-booked there.

ETA: well on second though they might have booked through a TA that charges a cancellation fee and are hoping to circumvent it by cancelling direct. (The .01% exception :D)

I booked it myself. I booked a mini-suite and later found out mini-suite is not really a suite. It doesn't come with perks as a suite but just a bigger space with a tub. I would just book a balcony and use the extra $700 for something else.

So you don't really want to cancel, just change to a less expensive cabin. Easily accomplished with a phone call. Completely cancelling and starting a new booking (even if it were possible to do yourself online) could cause you to lose whatever promotions you originally received.

Then just call 'em up and rework the booking to a balcony category. Simple. Have the deck plans for your ship up on your computer so you can work with the agent in selecting a cabin.

Wise move. Mini-suites are nice, but not really worth the price for a little extra space, a tub and a glass of "drain cleaner" bubbly.
