Thanks. I never been on Allure before and didn't know they had interactive signs. That's a nice feature. Is there anything available in the windjammer? And what kind of food do they have at cafe promenade?

Windjammer is not open that late. Café Promenade has premade (small) sandwiches, cookies and other baked goods.

Windjammer is generally closed around 9 or 9:30pm.

Cafe Promenade has small sandwiches, wraps, desserts, cookies, fruit cups, fruit, coffee, hot tea, etc.

The Windjammer will not be open that late. From what I recall, Cafe Promenade has sandwiches, pastries

ROOM SERVICE - Just be aware that if you order room service after 12 pm there is a small charge. We usually order something like a cheese and fruit tray and put it in our room fridge for a late snack.

WINDJAMMER - My guys will occasionally get sushi or something they want for a snack at Windjammer and store it in our room fridge for later. You just want to make sure it is something you will enjoy cold as there is no way to heat anything in your room.

What Bob said. RCI is lacking in night time food compared to most other lines and your choices are basically pizza, small sandwiches and cookies.

Have only been on one other line-Carnival and they were lacking even more so than RCI late at night.

Just curious-what do other lines offer?

I've read that some lines keep the buffet open 24 hours.

Sorrento's is the pizza shop on the promenade deck 5. I believe its open 24 hours. The pizza in most sorrento's is just ok, but the one on this class ship has made to order personal size pizzas. It takes about 10 minutes and is worthy.

Do you just ask for a personal pizza? Is there a special name? We love pizza and I have heard before that this one tastes a lot better.

They limit the number of available ingredients each day, but its fresh and tasty, you do have to ask, its a special area beside the main offering, usually takes 10-15 minutes.

I was on the Norwegian Sky last year and although the main buffet was closed they have a secondary buffet on the back of the ship that is just next door to main one and it was open later. Don't remember how late exactly.

I believe you meant to state 12am vs 12pm. I understand there is a small charge after midnight.

Also, does anyone have or in a position to point me to the Oasis/Allure room service menu? Thanks in advance.

Compared to most? Isn't that a stretch and lacking to whom?

Yes compared to most other lines RCI has weak late night offereings. I don't think the claim is a stretch at all. After dinner you can go to sorrento of cafe promenade or room service. NCL was mentioned with their late night pub food. Carnival has a portion of their buffet open late night. Princess cafe (can not remember the name at the moment) has more food options than RCI.

Whether you care or not is one thing, but if you've been on other lines you may find RCI to be a distant finisher in this contest and certainly not a leader.

The biggest RCI ships don't even have 1 late night deck party snack and Carnival is bringing back Midnight Buffets on some itineraries. You can't get hot wings on Royals newest ships at night but you can go on NCL oldest and smallest ship and get made to order wings at 4 am if it suits you. You won't starve on Oasis or Allure but the choices are meager. And if you are on a smaller ship you will be lucky to find ANYTHING at all after midnight.

Haven't sailed NCL but there was nothing special on Princess or Carnival for late night food.
