I learned something new today! :D I've never heard of the "taste bar".

I'm just going off of what is on the Carnival site:

A voyage to new destinations is the perfect time to try new things… and here’s the perfect place: The Taste Bar. Stop by for a taste of the flavors awaiting you at dining venues across the Carnival fleet. Pick up a complimentary appetizer before dinner for a taste of something different.

Can somebody tell me more about this? What kind of appetizers do they offer? This is open just before dinner?

Thanks. :)

I don't know where it is on all ships but is at end of casino bar on Triumph. They give you a very small sample, usually of something that you can eat with a toothpick or your fingers, like a meatball, then a little cup of soup you can drink. It's appetizer sized portions and super tasty. Definitely recommend checking it out.

I went on a cruise this summer and really enjoyed The Taste bar. We had late dining so that helped us make it to dinner time. I believe that on the Breeze you get samples of what you could get in the steakhouse or Italian restaurant. It is def. worth a try.

There is no cost for the Taste Bar, but I can't find it on the deck plans for the Victory even though the description of the Victory says it is there....

I believe it might be on the Promenade deck where the sushi bar was and it's set up similar to the picture of the one on the Miracle.

Its a little station with a small bite size appetizer. I think its often on the promenade deck. On Conquest I believe it was just past the casino. On Elation, it was near casino as well, right before the photographers alley. On Elation, they had it 3 nights. I want to say it was 2,3,and 5, but I am not positive. The first time it was some pulled pork and a thimble size of soup, the second night it was a meatball and slice of French bread with cheese or something. The last night I did not try it, but it was a fried something or other. It was good the times I tried it.
