CABIN #: 9142

DECK #: 9

CLASS: C2

AREA: AFT

BED NEAR: bathroom

QUIET?: NO-we were one deck below ocean view and heard some scraping of chairs etc but there are two service doors across the hall I believe for staff stair cases so the room service and luggage delivery pickup was from here and some mornings the door slammed continuously. The night prior to embarkation was sooooo loud

BALCONY VIEW: good non obstructed

BALCONY SIZE: normal

WIND A PROBLEM?: no

SOOT A PROBLEM?:no

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: these rooms have a large probably six foot overhang from ocean view. It provided nice shade and rain protection but may not he desireable to all. Also a round floor window from ocean view was directly in front of our balcony. You could hear chairs on these terribly. Couches were great in room and wonderful storage space. Decent showers but needed mirror replacement and the refrigerator door did not close at all. Easy flight of steps up to ocean view and down to dining room.

SHIP: Summit

CABIN #: 1140

DECK #: 11

CLASS/CATEGORY: A1 Aqua

LOCATION/AREA: Aft - dead center

QUIET?: Yes. If you were on the balcony, you were one deck above the Ocean View bar, and some evenings there would be a guitarist / music that could be heard, which was nothing unpleasant. Also, I was concerned with the movie location one deck above, however, never heard anything while inside the cabin. Bottom line, one of the best cabins on the Summit.

BALCONY/ Huge 2 lounge chairs and 2 regular chairs

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS: In my signature is a link to my review with a lot of pictures. This cabin has an oversized balcony being dead middle aft. Because of the location, there is literally no foot traffic whatsoever.

SHIP: Infinity

CABIN #: 9043

DECK #: 9

CLASS/CATEGORY: Aqua Class/A2

LOCATION/AREA: Forward

QUIET?: Mostly. Could hear occasional footsteps or pool chairs moving in the early evening (women in heels, pool attendants reorganizing/cleaning). Across from pool pump room, but no annoying noises.

BALCONY: Triangle shaped. 2 chairs and a table. Roomy.

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS: The window cleaning mechanism is immediately to the left of the balcony. Can obstruct view looking aft. Very convenient to forward elevators and stairs, one flight up to adult pool and spa. Would book again.

SHIP: Constellation

CABIN #: 6106

DECK #: 6

CLASS/CATEGORY: Celebrity Suite

LOCATION/AREA: Midship

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY/PORTHOLE VIEW: Very good - no obstructions

BALCONY/PORTHOLE SIZE: Extra wide, but shallow. 2 Chairs, 2 Foot stools, and a small table

WIND A PROBLEM?: No (facing aft)

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS:

Awesome suite, loads of room with lots of storage. Walk-in closet has two spots for hanging clothes (left and right of vanity with drawers). Bathroom is off the bedroom, so if sharing the suite, all passengers must go through Master Bedroom to access the Bath. Bath tub is very high (large step over) and shower head is quite low. We managed fine, but commenting for those with mobility issues and/or very tall people. Jacuzzi jets did not work. Mentioned it twice, never fixed. Wasn't a biggie for us to pursue.

SHIP: Infinity

CABIN #: 6124 & 6126

DECK #: 6

CLASS/CATEGORY: sky suite

LOCATION/AREA: aft

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY/PORTHOLE VIEW: See comments below.

BALCONY/PORTHOLE SIZE: Extra wide, but shallow. 2 Chairs, 2 Foot stools, and a small table

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS: Sky suites 6124 and 6126 have a view which is obstructed by a crane. There may be other cabins in that area of the ship which share the same problem. They also have a shower inside a tub with an exceedingly high side. Very difficult to get in to take a shower.

CABIN #: 8168

DECK #: 8

CLASS: FV

AREA: aft, across the back of the ship

BED NEAR: bath

QUIET?: yes

BALCONY VIEW: Great view

BALCONY SIZE: Large with 2 lounge chairs, small table, 4 chairs and large table. Veranda is covered halfway so you can choose sun or shade.

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Would stay in this cabin again in a heartbeat! It's quite large and lots of storage. The only noise issue on the veranda is if one is bothered by the entertainers at the bar outside the buffet on deck 10 but they finished around 11pm and you could not hear them inside the cabin.

CABIN #: 6099 - Infinity

DECK #: 6

CLASS: S1 Sky Suite

AREA: 251 sq ft compared to 300 sf on Solstice Class ships

BED NEAR: Head of the bed is on wall and the bed faces out to sliding door

QUIET?: Not really - see comments

BALCONY VIEW: Side view out but down is obstructed by life boats

BALCONY SIZE: unsure

WIND A PROBLEM?: Only on windy days and while moving but typical

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No just salt on the railing

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:

On Infinity, balcony is covered with canvas canopy and flooring is wood/teak. Bed is very close to wall on one side which is covered with a mirror. Cabin is smaller than Solstice counterpart. NOISE - we could hear cabinets opening and closing very early in the morning and very late at night. Cabin is above shops. A loud noise woke me up at 6 am the first morning. I asked the butler about it when he asked how we had slept. It didn't happen again. I suspect someone was moving around down below and made a rather large bang and was told to quiet down. I could also hear the TV in the cabin next to us and talking. No noise from above.

The balcony is not very deep and I had to sit on the chair sideways to put my feet on the ottoman. Also, a light on a walkway between lifeboats was always on all night and all day. At night, this rendered the balcony useless for viewing stairs since the light shined right in our eyes. We only used the balcony during the day which was a bummer. On the 'bright' side, we didn't need to worry about seeing in the cabin to walk around at night. ;)

Otherwise, this cabin is very convenient to the elevators and stairs mid-ship and we were very happy with the lower deck location close to everything that matters to us.

Shower in bathtub which is high up and a challenge to negotiate in and out especially when ship is moving. Also difficult for tall people to shower in.

The railing and decking need repair.

CABIN #: 9024

DECK #: 9

CLASS: 2B

AREA: Forward, Starboard

BED NEAR: Away from Balcony

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Good, unobstructed

BALCONY SIZE: Standard

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:

Standard Balcony room. Very near elevators, so easy access. Under the SPA on deck 10, so no noise from above. Liked the location easy to get to pool deck on 10 and a walk across deck 10 to Buffet. Being forward gives easy access to theater for shows. But a walk to get to MDR.

CABIN #: 6094

DECK #: PH

CLASS: 2B Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony

AREA: Midship

BED NEAR: bath

BALCONY SIZE: Standard

SOOT A PROBLEM?: no

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: This cabin features a door to access the adjoining cabin, which you can use if your family/guests are all travelling together. We were not, so the door remained locked. Good cabin, would choose again.

SHIP: Summit

CABIN #: 9167

DECK #: 9

CLASS/CATEGORY: Balcony 2B

LOCATION/AREA: Aft, Port side

QUIET?: No

BALCONY/PORTHOLE VIEW: Balcony has no obstructions but has the large overhang from Deck 10. Always shady and protected from rain. Not good for sunbathing.

BALCONY/PORTHOLE SIZE: Standard size balcony. Two regular chairs and small table.

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS: This room is noisy. We heard a lot of noise above us from the buffet area. We also heard dings from the elevator. If you want a really quiet room, avoid this one. It is however very convenient to the buffet, stairs, and elevator.

CABIN #: 7145

DECK #: 7

CLASS: 2A

AREA: Midship

BED NEAR: Bathroom

QUIET?: Yes, very.

BALCONY VIEW: Very nice, life boat under but didn't see it unless you were looking directly down.

BALCONY SIZE: Normal

WIND A PROBLEM?: NO

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Great cabin mid ship. Right by the mid ship stairs/elevator, 3 up directly into ocean view or 2 down to Cafe Bacio. Would definitely book this again.

CABIN #: 7175

DECK #: 7

CLASS: 2B

AREA: Aft, portside

BED NEAR: Bathroom

QUIET?: No; near elevators (dinging), next door conversations, cabin attendants hollering to each other, crew door across hall slamming day & night

BALCONY VIEW: awning under but didn't see it unless looking directly down.

BALCONY SIZE: Large (why we chose cabin)--fit lounger

WIND A PROBLEM?: only when blowing against that side of ship a couple days

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Of 24 past cruises incl. Summit, this particular veranda cabin was by far the smallest cabin we've ever stayed in! I guess the large balcony reduced the cabin space. We had to move the table against the window in order to access the bed. Large armchair (instead of sofa) was tight against nightstand & had worn upholstery. High lip of shower v. close to door & toilet, he fell against it 2x. Would not choose again.

CABIN #: 6120 on Millennium

DECK #: 6

CLASS: Sky Suite S2

AREA: Starboard mid-ship, very conveniently located between the aft and mid stairwells and elevators

BED NEAR: Against bathroom wall facing the balcony

QUIET?: Apart from the occasional snoring from my partner, yes :p

BALCONY VIEW: looks out on the crane used to get the lifeboats down to sea level. When looking to the left you see lifeboat nr 17, on the right when looking down are the barrels with inflatable life rafts. So not an 100% unobstructed view, but it did not bother us at all

BALCONY SIZE: normal depth and quite wide (the Sky Suite cabin and balcony are 50% wider than Verandah staterooms). There were two large sets each with a large footrest and ample room to move around. No table though.

WIND A PROBLEM?: no

SOOT A PROBLEM?: no

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:

- first day we noticed an odor in the bathroom, reminiscent of sweat or more likely mildew. This abated after the first night but did occasionally reoccur, albeit very faintly, if we kept the bathroom door closed.

- There is a ton of storage room in the suite, even though you would not say so at first glance: There is a very large walk-in closet at the entrance, two large cupboards in the desk, two drawers in each of the two bedside tables, and several more in the television cabinet which also houses the minibar. The bathroom, too, had more than sufficient storage for us.

- The room is divided into distinct areas which all have enough space to be usable by someone without feeling cramped: The entrance with the big closet and a table with a cute chest where we kept our seapass cards and some money, bathroom with one sink + bath with adjustable shower + toilet and shelving, a large desk area with vanity mirror, the bed and TV, a seating area with convertible couch, cozy chair and table large enough for two people to eat at.

- The desk has four outlets of which two for US plugs and two for European plugs. We didn't find other outlets in the seating or bed area, which would have been handy.

- We loved the Sky suite setup with the bed facing the balcony so you can watch the sea when laying on the bed, as opposed to cabins where you face a wall. Unfortunately though the cabin and balcony are 50% wider in the Sky suite, the window is the same size as in the smaller cabins, so you also see curtains and a wall in front of you. It would have been better if the window was bigger too.

- The sky suite is not a real suite in that there is no separate bedroom, it's just a bigger Verandah room with nice extra touches. That suited (sic) us just fine, we appreciated those touches and the extra space in the room, but we mainly enjoyed the suite experience outside of the cabin (Luminae, Michael's Club, Concierge, dedicated check-in and boarding lines in Port, invitations to special events).

CLASS/CATEGORY: Sky Suite 2 (Accessible)

LOCATION/AREA: Midship (beside elevators)

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY/PORTHOLE VIEW: Good

BALCONY/PORTHOLE SIZE: Standard for Sky Suite

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

COMMENTS: Our first time in an Accessible cabin (assigned by Celebrity, via a Suite Guarantee). Wider than standard sky suite. Table and 2 chairs in room (versus a sofa). Very large bathroom, shower only (no tub). We were concerned with the location beside the elevators, but very quiet! we enjoyed the central location (easy access to everything).
