Any major complaints on this one? I just got a rate of $81 for the night before the cruise (I was orig thinking we would stay in FLL near the airport and uber to miami on the day of) but for the price im thinking convenience alone is worth it. We don't land until 6:30 at night so wont have much time to enjoy the area but is it easy and convenient enough to some good restaurants with a 14yr old?

that is a good rate

Lots of places for dinner not sure about breakfast in the area we just ate at the Starbucks in the hotel

They do have a resort fee $15 I think & the elevators can be busy in the mornings but great location

Toro Toro is a very good restaurant within the hotel. At the very least, just go there for the La Bomba dessert!

Toro Toro was one of only two meals we ate at the at the IC. Very light fare for two and we drank water: total almost $60.

Starbucks was minimal in May when we were there in May as they had it torn up for remodeling. The hotel itself is lovely. There was a CVS, Subway, and Whole Foods 2 blocks from the hotel. We stayed three nights there. Loved our meals and shopping at Bayview and we Ubered to South Beach and other locations.

Very nice hotel, great location. You got a great rate. For breakfast the day of the cruise I recommend walking over to B Bistro + Bakery. If its a weekend get there early as it can get very busy. Great place for breakfast.

For dinner there is Toro Toro right in the hotel, Bayside Marketplace is a short walk away. Mostly chains, and a few local places, but a touristy spot. Nice place to visit but there are better food options. Pollo Y Jarras is close by, one of my favorite places in town.
