ms Westerdam & ms Nieuw Amsterdam calling at Juneau, AK - August 29, 2016

Westerdam and Nieuw Amsterdam are scheduled to make their weekly appearances in Alaska's state capital tomorrow, Monday, August 29, 2016. Hopefully, the sun will make a return also

Both ships are scheduled for a 1300 hrs. / 1:00 pm local arrival, with WEDM assigned the Cruise Terminal (CT) dock and a scheduled 10:00 pm departure, while NADM, on a weekly swap with Celebrity Solstice, will be tendering to the Juneau lightering float (AMP - Anchored Marine Park). NADM is also scheduled to depart at 10:00 pm

Also in port, in order of arrival, will be Crown Princess, going the Franklin Street (FKL) dock (1100-2230) as well as the aforementioned Celebrity Solstice, her time, this week to berth at the Alaska Juneau (AJ) dock (1330-2200)

Another Monday and hopefully they will arrive at their normal early time. If they arrive just at their stated arrival time, I will miss some of their post-arrival tie-ups. Oh well. :D

Crown Princess entering Gastineau. Seems about an hour early since it's only 9:35 AK time. Maybe 1/2 hour early by the time they tie up.

I see a beautiful, elegant Westerdam just past the tall pole.

I wonder if we'll have a camera person, she and her younger, bigger sister are pretty early and it is lunch time in Juneau.

We need a zoom but I guess he/she is at lunch.

According to marine map NA is sitting in basin, but no camera view.

NADM giving instructions to their lifeboats and Westy has 17 crew outstanding with all guests back onboard

WEDM has a zero-zero count and is already disconnecting her gangway while NADM is hauling her tenders up, "putting safety pins" back in the locking mechanisms, and getting "green indications" from their drivers
