I learned of this new program today from the Cap't Club Rep.

For more info...Check out the above link. :-)

Hi Lyndonn,

Sorry, but the program itself is not new news. The new "Cruise Now" & "Cruise Later" programs, have been in effect since late November 2013. The one big thing that's changed in recent weeks, is that you can now obtain 123 GO when booking onboard with the Cruise Now option - which by itself, is a great reason to book onboard. In addition, guests also receive booking onboard OBC, and the reduced deposit.

Hope this helps clarify things.

Am I understanding this correctly? With the cruise now and cruise later program we can choose a ship, cabin and sail date while onboard and we'll receive OBC and a 1-2-3 go promo selection. AND, we will be able to transfer the reservation to our TA and receive the TA's perks as well without losing those we gained for booking onboard? I must be missing something.

Can you change itineraries without losing the perks? What about price reductions before final payment?

Hi Floralscent,

My understanding is that with the Book Now option, you would receive 123 GO, and the booking onboard OBC. I see no reason why you should not be able to transfer to a TA, but it must be done within 60 days of booking.

As far as making changes later on & price reductions ? As there's a long list of terms and conditions, I will pass on venturing a guess :). I suggest calling Celebrity or your TA, for further information.

I hope this is helpful !

When I did the book Now promotion I was assured the 1-2-3 Perks would stay with the booking even if I changed sailings or cabin type. It can't be combined with certain promos though or with Tuesday specials. This is according to the FC specialist on board the Connie.

If the FC specialist was suggesting that you could change your booking to cruise that at the time of the change was not offering the 123 Perks I would be a surprised, but that would be nice. Of course if the cruise was offering the 123 Perks and you paid the current price that would make sense. It still is a nice deal IMO I would have thought that it would be more like an Open Passage with less OBC.

I have never actually changed a booking made on board. In January I was able to book a cruise, receive the OBC and get the 123 Promo. I believe this change was made last year.

Therefore it is not clear to me what is actually effective March 1, 2014.

Hi Jagoffee,

I believe what's effective as of 3/1/14, is that you should be able to obtain 123 GO when booking onboard, even if Celebrity is not currently offering it, or any variant of the program (such as pick your perk). I know this is definite for the "Cruise Now" option, where you pick your ship and sailing date. I'm not entirely certain if 123 GO is an automatic add on, with the "Cruise Later" option - but hopefully another member can share their recent experiences.

I will be onboard Eclipse in about 2 weeks, and will try my best to obtain additional information for our community. I have plenty of questions myself ! :)

Hope this helps !

booked a 12/13/14 silting on the reflection during our 2/8/14 trip. Got the 123, 250OB credit for concierge. had reservation transferred to our TA and got our 150 OB credit there. 2 weeks after booking, there was a 200.00 price drop and the TA took care of this and all was honored by celebrity. We than changed the trip to the 11/8/14 sailing to do the western trip on reflection. Again, got transferred with everything in tact.

Yes, it does.

If that continues passed the date that the 123 Go offer is good for a regular booing that would be a GREAT improvement to the on board booking program. Please let us know what you find out.

I also wonder if TA's will be excluded or if this is for all bookings.

Thank you. Enjoy your cruise.

How can something so simple be this complicated. Eg does it apply to repositioning/ta cruises. Does it stay if you transfer to a ta. These are very simple things that should be crystal clear....but I forget, celebrity doesn't seem to be able to train their people or communicate t&c's to passengers.

And, we were on the infinity on March 2, they mentioned nothing about this new program so we can't take advantage of it. It's just so easy to be frustrated by celebrity...

We are currently on board the Reflection. We booked a cruise while on board. The 1-2-3 program is now a year round part of the on board booking process. It does not go away IF the cruise is booked on board. If we decide to change sail dates or ships the 1-2-3 promotion goes with it. This was a nice perk. The drink package and a $350.00 OBC for a seven night cruise.

I love how they always change the terms of things right after I book. NOT! I had the misfortune to book on the Century in February.

Is this telling me that I can book onboard and get a drink package even though there is no pick your perk going on right now ?

Hi Cruise Junky,

My understanding is yes. My only fuzzy area, is whether this is the case with the Cruise Later option. I know it's good for the Cruise Now option - where you pick your ship, sailing date and cabin. I'm asking for confirmation on this, so please stay tuned !

What an awesome incentive. We will definitely be booking something on board Solstice next month

If you clicked on the link, and went to p. 2, you'd see that repositioning and TAs are included, at their own level of benefits.

In the fine print...transatlantic and transpacific are not eligible for the 1-2-3 part....nothing changed there..same OBC as before march 1.

Was told that the 1-2-3 addition is new. Very new. As a matter of fact we only knew about the OBC as we received an email about that just before leaving. They left a flyer in our stateroom about the 1-2-3.

Thanks. I see that Trans are excluded which makes since since they were included with the most recent 123 Promotions.

I asked a question on a different thread and did not receive a response, so I apologize in advance for asking again.

The older Open Passages did not have the new rule where Trans received lower OBC amounts. Has anyone had any experience using the older ones for a Trans and received the higher original OBC? If yes, were you able to combine it with another offer as well like with the new ones?

Thank you.

I'm curious how this plays out when pick your perk is being offered. Especially in Europe where you usually get to pick two.

I'm compiling a list of questions, and that's already on my list. I hope the onboard folks will be able to answer my questions.
