"That's my room !" Valor 9201

We just came back from our 11th Carnival Cruise. We sailed on the Carnival Valor, embarking from San Juan.

Probably one of the fastest paced Cruises ever.

But the highlight for me, was the cool room that I had.

Yup, thats 9201, a scenic oceanview cabin.

Wow that's sweet!! Didn't know about those room categories. Are they on most ships? And how does the cost compare to regular ocean views or balcony cabins? Thanks for sharing!

I skipped taking pics of the bathroom as it was standard Carnival.

This was looking at a Celebrity ship while docked at St.Thomas.

Nah! I'd rather have my interior down on the Riviera deck. LOL! That is one heckuva room there. Did they have to call security to pull you out of the room?

Is that a walkway of some kind outside the window?

By the end of the week, we had a fleet of towel animals.

We stayed in 9200 on the Glory last cruise. Slightly different from this one but really loved it. Most time ever spent in the room just looking out the window.:)

I loved that cabin so much, that we have booked that catagory again on the Sunshine!

Did the cabin get really cold at night? When we called, the maintenance man came in the middle of the night and fixed it, but he even said it was freezing. It was perfect temperature after that.

We could never figure out how to adjust the thermostat.

But we were so glad to be away from the sub-freezing temperatures at home, it did'nt matter.

Beautiful!! So loving this room. I have a 6J booked on the Sunshine. Perfect for oceanview lovers like me who don't like the lower decks.

9201 is called a Scenic GRAND Ocean view, 6k. There are only 2 of these 6k cabins, but there are 4 Scenic Ocean view in between those 2. They are all amazing. I was truly surprised that there was no extra motion when we went in January. I love your many pictures, because now people can really see these if they do a search. Thanks.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. I was trying to snag one on the Sunshine for our August cruise, but waited to late to book. Maybe one will open up before sailing.
