Thoughts on balcony location Liberty OTS

We are sailing Liberty OTS in October . We were assigned 8698 balcony. It appears it is the last balcony cabin on the side of ship. So one side has no cabin next to us. Has anyone stayed in a cabin like this? Thoughts?

To tag along with your cabin question..... I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the hump balcony cabins such as 8332 through 8344 are any larger than a regular balcony cabin or is the benefit of these cabins only that the balcony sticks out a bit farther. TIA!!

Cabins are exact same size, balcony is maybe 2 - 3 feet deeper. Have had hump cabins many times and think they are great. Only thing of concern is that the center hump cabin has a cabin door that opens directly into the hallway leading to the elevators on some ships.

You do have two cabins past you. If you don't like the location you can change without fee to any other cabin on the ship in your same category. That cabin would be too far back for us.

You can change to any other cabin in the same category that is still available.

The cabins are the same size and the balconies are also the same size. The only reason they stick out farther is to make room for the elevators. The biggest thing is the view and convenance to elevators and stairs. We had one on deck 8 and didn't hear any extra noise from the elevators.

We’ve had hump cabins located in the middle and at either end of the hump. Can you tell we like them? We have been on 6,7, and 8...all are good locations.

On that ship (Freedom class and Voyager class), there is no size differences in the "hump" cabins. On Radiance class, there can be...but it's the corner humps...not the center hump rooms that give extra balcony space.

We had a hump balcony on 6 once. We enjoyed it because it jetted out and it was a little deeper

No, that's not a hump stateroom. Hump staterooms on deck 6 are 6632-6646 and 6332-6346.

Did you end up keeping this cabin?  We just booked it for July 2019 and wondering how you liked it.  Will be our first time on the Liberty.

We stayed in 8334 last month. Loved the location. Balcony is  slightly larger made it a little nicer. What we really liked was 3 stair flights to Deck 5, 3 up to Deck 11. Much faster than waiting for elevators. 

Have same Deck booked for this October.

We stayed in the 8698 cabin last year and loved it!  The balcony was a little larger and no one on the other side.  Great shade  and a portion of balcony   Great view.  It’s a little farther to walk for elevator but it was a non issue for us.
