The dining room and buffet coffee has been good - the built in dispensers haven’t been working so they have had large airpots for coffee and hot water. there is a good selection of teas in the buffet area. English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Darjeeling, Green Tea, Lemon Lift, Mint, orange spice and Lipton.

I don’t know the exact number but one of the crew members said they are sailing at 70% capacity next cruise.

Maybe try it again? Europe is showing for me now.

Cabin D631 is the one that’s had the issues. They have torn out all the carpet and today they are repainting it. By the time the next cruise sails that room hopefully will be like new!.

Sorry that didn’t work. Circle back to your TA and have them contact Princess for you before the prices go up 12/14. This is an easy adjustment if they don’t know the code they can have Princess do it no problem.

I haven’t seen anyplace in the App to accomplish this, I wonder if they meant to say do it in Cruise Personalizer? If you log on to Passenger 3’s Personalizer and click on onboard services you should see an option to Upgrade to plus or Premier button. That should do the trick! Your TA can also do it for you but in fairness they might not be familiar with the code since it was newly introduced this year once Princess started making it so passengers 3 & 4 didn’t automatically get Plus. If unfamiliar they can contact Princess to get this done for you.

The cabin with the issues has been empty. We saw the people get relocated about the 3rd day of the cruise. I am just hoping they get it all sorted out before the next cruise! we have been watching some of the World Cup on movies under the stars but haven’t gone to any of the actual movies.

I haven’t gone back to Izume. the pools aren’t heated but they have warmed up since the beginning of the cruise since we have had so much warm weather. The covered pool is warmer than the outside ones. All are swimable and people are enjoying them. there haven’t been any more announcement about sewage problems so I take that as a good sign! There is one cabin in the section up from ours that has had flooding in the hall at least 3 times since the start of the cruise. They had the cabin door open today and it looked like there was a lot of repair work going on in there! When I walked by the hall was wet again tonight so it looks like they still have unresolved issues there!

No, it doesn’t need a reservoir. It uses a small HME filter that turns your breath into moisture ( works great). The filter last 7-14 days for me (depending on climate).

Speak with the Cruise Director, they may already have a place set aside for independent games or will arrange for one if they feel there is interest. If nothing is planned as a set aside space Skywalkers, Club Fusion, Adiago are all good, just check the Patter to see if an event is planned. Also, there will be times when one side of the buffet is closed and the other is serving food, an option would be to play at a table toward the back on the side not serving food. People also play games at tables on deck. There are lots of places to play. Have a great cruise!

I am not sure if this helps you or not but here is the pillow menu. Our pillows are the soft feather so I can’t say if the non- allergenic are firm or not my guess is they won’t be as firm as you are hoping for.

Today we are in Puerto Quetzal. We took the Coffee Plantation Excursion and it was very good. The drive took about an hour and a half which gave us a great opportunity to see the countryside. The highlight was passing by active volcanos, and one of them was clearly erupting ( small plume of ash ). The picture doesn’t do it justice. In person we could see the gas and ash escaping. We got to see several small bursts of steam and ash. It was pretty amazing. The coffee plantation is very interesting, we walked through the fields and the guides explained the various stages of growing coffee from the initial planting of the seeds until the end product of a delicious cup of coffee. The plantation has gift shops, a restaurant, soccer court, pool - the grounds are very nice and along with coffee plants there are a number of other fruits and plants growing including banana trees, avocado, oranges etc. Here’s a banana tree: Of course we ended up buying some coffee to take home.

Today I have had zero alcohol related beverages but my tally shows that I have had 1 drink out of 15. I now suspect that it is counting the coffee/ tea beverages that I am getting at Good Spirits at Sea when I walk up and order ( maybe the bartender is ringing something up wrong?). I will test that theory tomorrow and report back!

I wonder if for some reason your initial bid never went through ( some sort of system glitch)? Each time I have placed a bid I have received an email confirmation within a few minutes letting me know they received it.

On Diamond Princess the Piazza is already decorated for Christmas. Christmas trees, garlands on the staircase and a monitor that has a Yule log. Christmas carols are playing in the buffet. I am sure it is similar on other ships.

we are in a mini suite and we have the barrel chair. I don’t know if the OV cabins have them or not, sorry hopefully someone who has sailed on Diamond knows and replies. Savoy & Vivaldi are not being used by passengers. I am not sure if that is because we are sailing with so few guests or not I haven’t seen pastry at the Good Spirits Bar but I rarely go there in the morning.
