  1. Options: 1) add Plus to 3rd Passenger 2) one of the adults upgrades to multi device plan 3) log on to the App as passenger 3 using booking number, name and DOB and purchase 1 device through the app. 4) once onboard log on to medallion.net using passenger 3 DOB and purchase 1 device plan 5) once onboard visit the Internet Cafe and ask for assistance in purchasing for passenger 3. 6) passenger 1 or 2 can share internet access with passenger 3. Only 1 device at a time can be logged in as passenger 1 & 2 but it doesn't matter which device so as long as only 2 people in the cabin are logged on at any one time you will have all the access you need.
  2. I boarded Royal Princess yesterday and the 50% Elite/ Platinum discount was offered when I logged in the first day. also if you email AskoceanMedallion@carnival.com they can help you purchase in advance if you have entered a credit card into medallion app and want to do so. Or maybe they can figure out why your having trouble.
  3. You can make reservations via the App, stateroom TV, dine line or you can show up without reservations and wait to be seated if no tables are available when you arrive.
  4. He should book as a single- Princess occasionally has some single supplements that are less that double occupancy costs depending on the voyage. Plus with single occupancy he will only pay one set of taxes, fees and port expenses. And since insurance is based on cost of fare, it will be less if booked as a single. If he finds someone who wants to sail with him it’s easy to add the second person to the booking.
  5. If you have a TA have them pull up your information in Polar and they can see all the promotions that are currently associated with your Captains Circle number (Princess or PVP can do this as well). My sister got a similar targeted promotion like this about 6 months ago. It was via email though, not phone calls, and the fine print on potential costs of the land vacation made it no bargain at all. It looked like something running through a 3rd party and it seemed sketchy because it directed you to call a specific number (rather than saying call Princess or you’re a travel advisor as most Princess promotions do). It was listed as an offer sent to her when we checked her captain circle offers so we knew that it wasn’t a data breach but overall the offer seemed out of the ordinary for sure.
  6. I am on Royal now. I don’t have a measuring tape but if you use a full size toothpaste tube that’s a great reference for size. The shelf Is about 8 1/2 inches along the two long straight sides ( slightly larger than a toothpaste tube) and about 8 inches at its narrowest. The toothpaste tube goes from the corner and the cap just touches the frame of the midpoint curve ( see second photo)
  7. Go to Princess.com and log in, click on booked guests and then click check-in. scroll down and select dietary requests: The select distilled water Princess or your TA can add a request for extension cord to your booking or you can ask your steward once onboard.
  8. Four adults in a cabin wouldn’t be something I would do but it sounds like you all have done it before and made it work so I will give some ideas that hopefully help with the logistics. Because storage will likely be an issue consider packing cubes- each person with their own color of cubes. The clothing can stay zipped neatly in the cubes and cubes can be stacked on each persons shelf or in the upper area of the closet. Zippered packing cubes with everyone having their own color can also be used to keep toiletries neatly separated and easy to identify whose is who’s. Keeping everything corralled in color coded cubes will help maintain order in the limited storage space. These are the ones I use and they work great, I just drop them into the cabin drawers or on the shelves and I am done! luggage can be stored under the bed to free up floor space for shoes. Magnetic hooks on the walls can be used for hats, tote bags, masks, excursion tickets etc - each person can have dedicated hooks. Have you looked at what the cost if the least expensive inside cabin would be? Perhaps 2 of you could be in the balcony cabin and 2 in the least expensive inside cabin? The two in the inside cabin could come enjoy the larger balcony in the daytime but then you would all have a bit more space. The price difference may not be that much.
  9. When you book EZAir on a comped casino cruise you need to make air payment when you book the air - call the Casino and let them know you booked the air yourself and need to pay for it. They will take payment and ensure the booking is still protected from cancellation. if you booked through a TA contact them to make air payment and they can contact casino for you.
  10. These are Princess reps that Travel Agents can chat into or call when assistance is needed to serve clients. They provide Travel Agents support on bookings and assist with clarifications on Princess policies.
  11. Princess has started adding motion sensor lights under the nightstands and in the closet area right above the bathroom door. When the room is dark, anytime you pass in front of the sensors those lights come on and stay in several minutes.

  13. Yes, any money owed for EZAir will be rolled up into your overall cruise fare and will be collected by your TA. And, your TA can apply your gift cards to your booking anytime. One thing I would mention is if you do apply gift cards to your cruise fare please keep your gift cards- if something happens and you cancel the cruise the money goes back to the original form of payment.
  14. The issue is the middle name. Just leave it off and the app will accept it. His middle name and yours are on your bookings. And the first and last names entered will match the passport. The passport will be verified at the terminal at check in. we had same issue with the app and have cruised numerous times with no issue.
  15. In November I spent 20 days on Diamond in a mini on Dolphin and loved it. We used our balcony a lot and never had an issue with the feeling of people looking into our balcony ( we aren’t that interesting 😂). Most people are busy doing their own thing or looking at the ocean rather than other people’s balcony. We have also sailed on other Princess ships with the fully exposed balcony and it doesn’t bother us at all. The only issue we had was on very hot days it would get too warm to sit outside at times.
  16. Diamond has them, and the one in our cabin’s closet area would stay on a long time ( around 5 min) And the ones under the nightstand came on whenever we would shift the covers. REALLY annoying!
  17. Lots of good info in already posted replies. I would mention that you can pre-order a 12 pack of water for $7.80. You will find the option in your Cruise Personalizer under onboard services/ beverage packages. be sure to check out the Princess FAQ on sailing with kids https://www.princess.com/learn/faq/onboard/cruising-with-family/
  18. I have placed multiple bids on 3 cruises and have had a winning bid in all three - always the highest category I bid on ( which made me happy). I think the real message when placing multiple bids is only bid on the types of cabin you really want, and only bid the amount you are willing to pay.😄 I am not sure but maybe your sister can place another bid on the obstructed OV that was originally declined?
  19. @spingal@PacnGoNow @Jemnibabe @Yehootu I heard back from the manager I contacted at Princess and they verified that the requirement is medically observed PCR or Medically observed antigen test taken 3 days before embarkation. so I will be ordering my BinaxNow from Emed. 😄
  20. Do you mean if you used a Future Cruise Deposit (FCD) do you get increased OBC for sailing in a higher cabin type? If so, No. The OBC does not change.
  21. Me too! I always have to have that salt at Crown Grill. I like it so much that now I keep a supply on hand at home. It is fantastic when added to rub for BBQ ribs! YUM!
  22. If you don’t want to download the MedallionClass app ( which is a stand alone app that runs on your smart phone or tablet and is separate from the actual Medallion device) you have several alternatives. The first alternative is to use the web version. You can log on to Princess and click on booked guests and then select get ocean ready. Then scroll down to the link for the web version. Here is a link to hopefully take you to the web version https://oceanready-personalinfo-ui.prod.ocean.com/ The second alternative is to arrive at the port with your passport, travel summary (optional but good to bring in my opinion), and a credit card and proceed to the Blue Lane where a Princess employee will enter the information for you. The third option is to ask someone you know who has a smart phone to download the MedallionClass App and enter the information for you. Or if you know someone who has already been on a Medallion cruise they can use their app to log in and help you. The fourth option is to call Princess and ask to have someone assist you in entering the information. Enjoy your cruise.
  23. I have been in similarly positioned cabins on other ships and did not experience noise from the elevator alcoves,
  24. Your Plus or Premier fares would not change if you have a winning bid.
