  1. For this reply I am assuming you booked EZAir flexible and you are more than 45 days before flight so you can make changes or cancel without penalty. Because your air is not ticketed yet you can go into your booking and select new flights. If the new flights cost more you will pay any difference in price. Your other option is to cancel the EZair flights and book directly with the airline if they have flights you prefer that aren’t offered by EZAir.

My last 2 cruise (Diamond and Royal) I purchased AARP Princess GC while on the ship to pay my onboard account and both times the rep asked me to email a screenshot to them so they could print it out. If I had purchased before boarding and printed copy ( or visited the Internet Cafe to print) it would have expedited the process. Previously I just showed the card on my device but I think this may be a new policy.

But all either of these will show you is that you have bids pending, After your initial confirmation email you won’t get any communication until you are notified that your bid was accepted and a new cabin has been assigned.
  5. I am very sorry to hear your cruise was interrupted due to health issues. Here is the link to file a claim with AON https://www.aontravelclaim.com/#/home there is a form ( Attending Physician Report) AON asks you to get the doctor to fill out. If you are still seeing doctors it might be helpful to take a copy of this form directly to the doctor providing the current treatments and have them indicate you cannot cruise at this time (We have also sent in the after visit summary and they accepted that as proof of valid medical issue for cruise fare refund). My overall tip is to save things like: medical after visit summary, discharge paperwork, hotel receipts, meal receipts, receipts for costs to change air ( old ticket numbers, new ticket numbers), any correspondence with the airline. Save any receipt for an expense related to this unexpected change to your trip. Also any document that shows medical expenses that your medical insurance did not cover. if Princess didn’t give you medical information when you left the ship- request it and let them know it is for insurance claim for both primary insurance and AON claim. You can attach the “attending physician report” that AON wants and ask that it be filled out to document the situation that required your disembarkation for medical treatment.   6. Your EZair does not include a hotel. If you want a Princess Hotel you need to have that added to your booking ( and pay additional cost). If you booked a transfer it will be from airport to ship. If you fly in a day early and select a non-princess hotel you will need to make your way back to the airport to connect with the transfer to the ship.

  10. You will have no choice in where cabin is located. If there is a cabin you want in the exact same category ( not just same type) you may be able to request a cabin change but in the end you should be ok knowing your cabin may be anywhere. You are bidding a cabin type, not location. Yes, you can use a Princess gift card to pay for the upgrade.

  12. Not sure if they have them on Grand. We put rolled up pool towels in front of ours on Royal and that worked fine for keeping them off. We just lived with the one in front of the bathroom. Overall the lights are pretty annoying!
  13. Any of the princess reps can take the payment for $39.00 since this is for insurance so you don’t have to work with the casino desk on this. Call the regular Princess number and tell them you need to make the payment.

  15. Put in a bid to move from a DB to a mini on a. 5 day cruise . We bid slightly over min bid. This morning got the “YAY your bid is accepted” email....4 hours later still no new cabin assigned so I can’t go in and pay for the upgrade. Others in my party also got winning bids and they got new cabin assignments right away. I have successfully bid several times and always got the new cabin assignment within a few minutes of the award letter so this is a little strange! And there really isn’t any good way to contact the people running the program that I know of. Hopefully a cabin assignment comes through soon.
  16. Don’t expect the ship internet to be anything like what you are use to on land as far as speed. Emails without attachments generally send and receive but anything with an attachment is slow. Large files are very challenging to open, send or receive. Website pages with lots of graphics ( photos) are very slow. Internet messaging seems to work well in most instances but WiFi calling can be hit or miss. much if the reliability depends on where ship is and how many people are actively using the internet ( very early mornings and very late at night it seems faster to me). YMMV of course.

  22. You get a voucher in your stateroom for the jacket and then go to the shop and pick up the size you want.
  23. I went and checked the gift shop today… the $5.95 version have Stanley on them and are in a plastic case. The $3.95 cards are in a paper box and have the ship on them.
  24. I use my Princess Visa ( Barclays) and get statement credits when I have enough points. I also have started buying the AARP Princess gift cards to save 10%.
