  1. The voyages aren’t listed on Princess Website. The best way to check the prices is to do mock bookings for cruises June 22-October 22 for Mexico, Europe and Canada New England.
  2. We have been cruising on Princess as a family since 2005, my kids were 9 and 12 when we started. When they were younger my kids enjoyed kids club activities- they would review the list if daily activities the club was offering and pick what interested them. Sometimes they stayed the full day, other times just an hour or so. It depended on their interests. In addition they enjoyed the arts and crafts offered in the patter ( varies by voyage), cards, games and puzzles checked out from the onboard library, we brought them each binoculars to watch for wildlife, stargazing ( on ships that offered), Movies under the Stars, the shows- especially comedians and Magicians, mini golf on the putting green, basket ball, shuffle board, some ships have “giant chess” boards which they got a kick out of, bocci ball, ping pong… there really is a lot to do!
  3. I recently received a cancellation notice for a Skagway excursion and the White Pass Rail, Summit, Gold Panning and BBQ was suggested as an alternative so you should be fine booking it!

  5. My positive test was 3 weeks ago, tested negative 10 days after positive. Just took an Antigen test ( as my dr suggested) for upcoming cruise and it was also negative. So for those who had Covid within the last 90 days I would use the Antigen test for pre-cruise travel.
  6. June 2022 - October 2022 Princess is offering some special rates for solo travelers 100%-150% instead of the usual 200% on select voyages. Voyages that are part of the special include Mexico , Europe, Canada & New England. Not all voyages are included but if you travel alone it might be worth checking out to see if you can snag a good solo rate!
  7. Do you have the letter of recovery as well? Hopefully by June 25 you can take an antigen test that’s negative and avoid the worry!
  8. you can each have the app downloaded or both of you can have it downloaded makes no difference. Because you are on the same booking you will see each other in the app regardless of which one of you is logged on. if you go into travel check lists, personal information both of your names will be at the top of the page and you can click on your name to toggle between the two of you. It could be that he is trying to set up a new account and he already has one if he has a Princess.com account ( your user name and password is what you use for princess). Have him try logging on with Quick Access using his booking number, name and DOB and see if that solves the problem for him.
  9. To book the Princess hotel you will need to call Princess or your TA and ask them to add the hotel to your booking.

  11. Princess told TAs today that they don’t plan on raising beverage prices as a result of adding Premier. ( time will tell, but at this point it seems like you need not worry).

I viewed the webinar today and they said they aren’t planning to raise drink prices to eliminate them from Princess Plus beverage package so you should see the same beverages as before (I know.. time will tell… just repeating what TAs were told don’t kill the messenger 😂). They said their plan isn’t to devalue Princess Plus beverage package - Premier package is intended to include more of the higher priced wines and higher priced spirits that aren’t currently covered by the Princess Plus. It also sounded like there were plans to add more specialty cocktails (they mentioned a name but I don’t recall who creates them) that would be covered under the Premier.
  13. Without inside knowledge there is no good way for most of us here to know whether the issues you mention (I am thinking you mean on Crown) will resolve before your sailing. It very much will depend on what is required to repair the issue and availability of materials and the technical expertise to make repair. It is very possible the same issue will remain in August and September. Since you are outside of final payment you could consider changing your voyage to a different Princess ship doing the inside passage.
  14. The OBC for a referral typically shows up when the booking is created. The referral process generally flows like this: Person makes referral, Person being referred gets an email from Princess and they must “accept” the referral, Person who made the referral gets a confirmation email from Princess letting them know the referral was accepted. THEN the booking is made and the booking system automatically applies the credit. If the booking is made before the person accepts the referral it won’t go through properly. Once the referral is accepted you can see the name of the person referred and the date they need to sail by in your Captain Circle account ( usually shows up within a day or two if acceptance). If you don’t see it listed you can ask your Agent to contact Princess to check and see what happened with the referral. If there was a glitch your TA can see if Princess will add the OBC manually. Resubmitting the referral won’t correct the problem because the system will see that the people being referred already have a booking so they wouldn’t qualify for referral credit.

I recovered about 10 days ago and got letter of recovery from Dr. which includes language that the “CDC does not recommend getting tested again in the three months after a positive viral test as long as you do not have symptoms” Kaiser ( my provider) will not do PCR tests for 90 days because they say it’s likely that the PCR will come back positive even though no longer contagious (because if what the test measures). Dr said stick with Antigen tests if needed for travel before the 90 days is over (my over the counter Antigen tests are now negative). Hopefully your antigen tests will be negative by the time you travel. But it’s good to have the letter of recovery and proof of positive test as back up in case you need to show it.
  16. Unfortunately linking the bookings won’t help with this. The easiest way for you to do this for your Aunt would be to log into the cruise Personalizer as your Aunt using her booking number, name and birthdate. Book her excursion and pay, then go into your Personalizer and book your tickets for same excursion.
  17. If you haven’t made final payment you can call Princess and have insurance added. As for whether it is necessary or not that depends on the level of risk you are ok with. If something happens less than 30 days before your voyage than Book With Confidence does not apply.   18. You mention that one of your perks was a location upgrade and maybe that is part of the confusion. At the time of your booking you select your cabin or in your case a guarantee. The location upgrade promos typically mean you pay the lowest price for a cabin type ( say lowest interior cabin aft Cat IE) and you can get a free location upgrade to an available open cabin of same type ( say mid forward interior IB). Once you have selected the category of your guarantee ( from open available categories) the option to select a free location upgrade is fulfilled. The cabin you are ultimately assigned from a guarantee has nothing to do with the original promo, from Princess standpoint that was fulfilled at the time you booked the cruise and picked your cabin category.
  19. Princess has started sending out notices to booked guests. But I agree with you there is very little information on the Princess website about it.
  20. Thanks for this information. I was wondering if Princess has people at the pier helping folks enter info into Arrivecan. If you happen to notice that or if you get a chance to ask one of the reps that would be appreciated.
  21. I am curious how passengers who fail to enter information into Arrivecan prior to arriving at check in are being handled if anyone happens to notice. Are Princess reps assisting ? I know some people choose to have all Medallion information entered by Princess at the Port, my guess is there will be some who don’t do Arrivecan in advance as well.
