  1. None of the martinis at the Martini bar are covered by the HH menu. The happy hour says available at "most" bars. The Martini bar is not one. The top shelf liquors there are not generally included. The premium non alcohol package won't help.
  2. Typically, it has been our experience that Celebrity does not play that game, unlike say, Carnival. Celebrity does not want folks all holding off until the price drops to book, they would rather sail with a few empty cabins. Celebrity uses the Upgrade bid process (Move Up) to encourage increased revenue near sailing time. BTW, Princess has just adopted this model, word for word.
  3. Maybe I wasn't clear. The testing for vaccinated cruisers is back to two days before embarkation, as originally was. I am on the same Boston-Miami repo.
  4. I believe they are taken care of in the top section, but agree, they need to rewrite the whole thing along with a new summary table.
  5. @mfs2k Check out the NEW rules... https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation They came to their senses!
  6. BERMUDA HAS CORRECTED ITS RULES FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS. THEY HAVE REMOVED THE FOLLOWING: Fully vaccinated passengers must take either a COVID-19 NAAT test taken no more than 2 days before arrival, or a supervised antigen test no more than 2 days before arrival. All changes on August 22 now apply only to UNVACCINATED passengers. https://www.gov.bm/cruise-travel-authorisation
  7. @Charles4515. Can you possibly point me to the actual law? I am curious. Thanks
  8. In addition to the transatlantics we are also talking about the Summit repositioning from Boston to Miami, leaving October 15 arriving in Bermuda the 17th. If the current wording is correct, we vaccinated folks will have to test either boarding day or first sea day. (1 or 2 days before arrival). Maybe in addition to being tested before embarkation? Personally, i hope celebrity simple cancels Bermuda from the itinerary. It's a lot of hassle for a 6 hour stop.
  9. Yes. Pillows just bend my neck, the wedge is what my MD recommends at I use at home.
  10. Anyone can use this area. It is a row of comfy loungers facing forward, with relaxing music in the background.
  11. @cruisestitch Can you tell me how I can "call" Special needs once I am on board? I contact shoreside special needs for bed wedges for my GERD, they say fine, and the info never seems to get to my cabin attendant. This past April, they didn't have any wedges on the ship(Summit)! If I was in a suite, they would call to make sure I had the booze of my choice in my suite. Apparently that is more important than handling guests with medical conditions.
  12. We are going to Bermuda on the Summit repo in October. Bermuda still requires both vaccinations and testing. Hope they have the app squared away before the 31st of August for our check in. Maybe we are just supposed to use the Bermuda form for vaccination proof.
  13. If they don't limit the number of unvaccinated guests, they are leaving open the possibility of more serious covid cases on board than the medical staff might not be able to handle. It is in Ćelebrities best interestb to severly limit the number of unvaccinated on board for just that reason.
  14. Sorry. I just copied it from the current(?) Listing of benefits on the Celebrity web site. That included the 15% discount on drink package so I thought it was up to date. Just so I know. What are the current rules?
  15. The wording from the Celebrity Captain's Club benefits list is the same as it has always been: "Unlimited complimentary drinks from the Captain's Club menu at most bars and lounges throughout the ship daily, between 5pm-7pm." Dining rooms have always been excluded from this, and I see no change. But good luck with trying to turn a cruise only fair and Elite status into an AI package. We find it simpler and less hassle to simple pay for the AI upgrade.
  16. And the next person that gets the cabin will just have to live with the stench, right? 😝
  17. Just trying to help out wherever I can.
  18. Obviously a lot of people have a hard time with either the search function here, or google!
  19. Just last week my TA changed two reservations from AI to Elevate, no problem. Go figure!
  20. What is the source of this information? I would be all ears to hear if this will always be true or just sometimes. Perhaps on elevated cruises or those that are meant for indulgent cruisers?
