  1. It happened to me as well. A little more than 90 days out. When I later added excursions/cabana rental, a new/updated one was sent. I'm still more than 20 days out. Shockingly, nothing is wrong....so far. 😉
  2. For your stateroom category, every stateroom has a sofabed except for the wheelchair accessible ones. The BBs that sleep 4 have a sofabed near the closet and a pullman above the sofa. A "sleeps 3" can have the bed near the closet or near the balcony. Most that sleep 3 have the bed near the closet.
  3. All of the Project Leonardo ships (NCL Prima, Viva, et al) are based on Fincantieri's Project Mille which is also true for MSC Seaside, Seaview, Seashore (and Seascape) as well as Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady (and Resilient Lady). The Project Mille concept was first shown in 2013 and the first ship based on it (Seaside) has been sailing since 2017. Since the shutdown, it's unknown who is gaining or losing at the moment. It will take time for things to get back to normal. NCLH is currently 4th behind the Carnival Corp, Royal Caribbean Group, and MSC. Nothing is free. Whether someone has a tattoo or doesn't have a tattoo has nothing to do with their behavior. It is entirely possible to cruise on a ship that has a Haven/Yacht Club/Retreat/Suite Neighborhood/Havana type of section and never notice that something nefarious is happening behind those locked doors. Just enjoy the rest of the ship. MSC has a Yacht Club as well as assigned dining for those outside of the Yacht Club.
  4. With the current promo, all over 21 get the PBP if selected... Premium Beverage Package is applicable to all qualified sailings excluding Pride of America. Applicable to guests 1-8 on the reservation. If 3-8 guest is under 21 years of age, Premium Beverage package does not apply and soda package will not be given as a substitution.
  5. I've sailed both on different ships and will continue to sail both on the upcoming ships. Each has strengths and weaknesses. Neither is perfect but both suit me and my family. The ability to book the Yacht Club in an interior stateroom makes the price advantage even greater since the Haven cannot be booked in the same way. The least expensive Haven suite is almost always going to cost more than the least expensive Yacht Club suite. Stateroom size and variety favors NCL but for the price differences, it's sometimes less expensive to book 2 YC Deluxe balcony suites for the price of a large 2BR Haven suite. When people ask, I recommend that people try both with an open mind.
  6. In addition to the tip given above about letting the site "find" your complete address, another tip is to try to go through the process with a different passenger in the same stateroom. I was unable to get the travel docs sent to my email for me but when going through the process with the other 3 staying in my stateroom (wife/2 kids), the docs came through just fine...even though I use the same email address for everyone. Strangely, I was able to get mine more than 90 days out for my upcoming cruise while the previous cruise was unavailable until 19 days out. Once on the ship, mostly everything is fine. That's why we continue to sail with MSC (and others). No cruise is perfect but the onboard experience is the opposite of the IT or finance department.
  7. That's for US and PR residents sailing the Caribbean. I should have asked for more info before posting.
  8. If you test positive for COVID-19 within 14-days prior to your cruise, you and your traveling party will receive a full refund. If you test positive for COVID-19 at the terminal, you and your traveling party will receive a full refund and assistance, if required, with land-based quarantine. If you test positive for COVID-19 during your cruise, you and your traveling party will receive a pro-rated refund and assistance, if required, with onboard medical care and land-based quarantine.
  9. The problem is that you will see different things on different parts of the NCL site. The Guest Ticket Contract (04/21) has...LINK (c) Guests under 21: Any Guest under 21 years of age is considered a minor. Any Guest under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same, connecting, or side by side stateroom by a Guest 21 years of age or older at the time of embarkation who expressly agrees to be responsible for the under-21 Guest throughout the cruise. The Additional Terms and Conditions has...LINK A passenger under 18 years of age must be accompanied in the same or connecting stateroom by a passenger 21 years or older who expressly agrees to be responsible for the under 18 passenger throughout the cruise. The 3rd (most restrictive) states that someone 21 or older must be booked into the stateroom and that it doesn't matter who is connecting or side by side (mjkacmom's example)... ...but I haven't seen that one lately. It used to state... "Norwegian Cruise Lines policy dictates that a minor or young adult under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a guest 21 years of age or older at the time of boarding." Until things are consistent, this topic will continue to have conflicting answers and conflicting personal experiences.
  10. $29 per person per day + 20% = $34.80 pppd = $243.60 for a 7 night cruise.
  11. My best deposit return was 19 days. My worst deposit return was 31 days. My excursion refund is going to be "2 billing cycles" but that hasn't past, yet. We'll see....
