  1. @MoCruiseFan You didn't agree to any ports at all. I disagree; every CONFIRMATION EMAIL I have received from NCL has a definite itinerary as the last portion of the T&Cs. While NCL's T&Cs allow for "simple changes" a totally different cruise is not a "simple change".
  2. @Jorg_ There are so many 2 tops that you will not have to wait too long even if you arrive at peak time. The norm for booking in the MDR is when you want a large group to be seated together, say 6-10. Above 10 you would have to book as they have to move furniture. I have been in an MDR when a group of 16 just turned up "demanding" a single table. It took a long time to get it "sorted"!! With lots of ill feeling on both sides, not that the Maître d' and Restaurant Manager lost their cool!!
  3. @cruiseny4life Has NCL sent you an email with the details? As you have posted a new itinerary I presume they have. What did they offer to do for you? Any offer of a different cruise? Cancellation with a full refund? AND some FCC? Are you able to post the whole document?
  4. @marnie2005 I don't know if this will actually work. If not you may have your request redirected to the right people. Try specialeventsbliss@ncl.com HTH Mike
  5. I have done the Panama "Two Oceans by Railroad" in the opposite direction and found it interesting.
  6. What is your Latitude level? Does that give you priority embarkation? If so you won't be given/be able to choose a port arrival time.
  7. One of the NCL debark tours from Civitavecchia to Fiumicino states " you’ll be dropped off at a central location where you’ll have approximately two hours of free time. " Does anyone know the likely central locations please? Similarly the other states "... free time for lunch before rejoining your coach to head towards St. Peter's Square. Here you’ll visit the Basilica, " Again does anyone know the stopping place for the lunch stop and also know how far from St Peter's Square the coach park is please? Thank you Mike
  8. @marktwothousand We were on the Star a number of years ago from BA to SF. At Santiago lots of "crew" members arrived and the rest of the cruise was a bit of a shambles as work was going on all over the place before it was going into dry dock in SF. You will probably find that there will be work going on all over the place. Probably small stuff but enough to annoy.
  9. If your car does not provide a spare, go to a wreckers and buy one, situation covered.
  10. @Warbird You have received a discount, looks like 10%; she hasn't . If you want to see your wife's you will need to log-in with her Latitudes number or ask your PCC. The savings are probably a % discount on the theoretical fare that they offered at one time in "Free at Sea". If you look at the website there is always a crossed out fare above the quoted fare.
  11. @Cruising1122 Gratuities of $200 look to me to be for 2 people for a 7 or 10 day cruise. In that case you will each need to drink 2-3 alcoholic drinks a day every day to cut even. If it is for 1 person I assume a longer cruise but the drink requirement is the same.
  12. @Drumstix40 Two places:- NCL Website Bottom of page "Contact Us" Guest Relations "After you Cruise" But also Katty Byrd | Senior Vice President, Guest Serviceskbyrd@ncl.com
  13. @Lunesse Remember that you cannot "book" them as used to be possible; they MUST be paid for at the time of "booking" even though the terms & conditions talk of "pre-booked/pre-paid" shore excursions.
  14. What is the real reason? Cancelling 11/12 months in advance for that reason is totally illogical. How does NCL know what the "supply chain constraints" will be then?
  15. @TrumpyNor Hello Anita Nice to hear that Alvin Oliva is on the Escape. Mike
  16. @kdpatte The easiest thing would just to keep trying, there might just be a glitch.
  17. @jerseyjill Drop-off location may vary. The general description states Drop-off location may vary so you might have trouble finding out beforehand.
  18. @Oxo Give me Bovril every time!! Oxo would be #2. Vegemite and Marmite #s 98 and 99!! I would recommend that when you are considering a cruise get on to the Roll Call in two or three places. The Roll Call of the cruise you are interested in; the Roll Call of the next couple of cruises the same ship is doing and the Roll Call of the last and present cruise the ship is doing. All are VERY good sources of information such as you are looking for.
  19. @malcliz I suspect that you spoke with a Guest Services "clerk" and not with a Financial Officer. I also assume that you paid with a GBP credit card and that the currency on the ship was USD!! As I said in an earlier post "PAPERWORK"!! Also they have no idea if the credit card you used to make the booking is still extant. If it isn't the funds are returned and life gets VERY difficult; been there done that.
  20. ... before final payment. You might get some OBC or a cheap upgrade after Final Payment if you are lucky.
  21. @julig22 Thank you, it will be interesting to see what happens on the Jade in November & December.
  22. @LaCal Thank you What was the "special gift"?
  23. Try looking at:- https://www.ncl.com/nz/en/cruises/5-day-mexican-riviera-round-trip-los-angeles-cabo-and-ensenada?itineraryCode=JOY5LAXCSLESELAX Then the Shore Excursion Tab and then the View All Excursions tab When you have found the ones you want phone the Shore excursion desk
  24. @BirdTravels Thanks. Also ask at GS if it is fleet wide please. Mike
