  1. Meet Kelly (as in Clarkson). She showed up on the back porch, starving yesterday morning. I will call the vet tomorrow morning and get her in for a complete check up asap.
  2. I think we had a letter like that for our trip last March. We just showed up at 10:30 and got right on. I don't remember what my check in time was since with the key I knew I could arrive early.
  3. We have learned to notice every cough we hear and to watch others very closely to analyze their actions.
  4. I do the same things I do at home. Wash my hands often and drink lots of water. Then I go places, mingle with crowds, and enjoy life.
  5. I am short too. If my husband who is tall is not around I have a tall step stool too. I keep my fancy serving bowls in mine. Used for special occasions.
  6. It is starting to look like a kitchen again. Just a little more crown molding, cabinet staining and counter tops. Then I need to scrub every surface in the house. Lol
  7. Yes. We like to drop our luggage off, have a lovely quiet lunch, internet for two, have a quiet leisurely last day breakfast. I also like to know we can get on the ship early without getting up at midnight to secure an early time. It is worth it to us.
  8. All y'all have a wonderful day too. Today should be the last messy day of the kitchen remodel. Then February 6th the granite is installed. I will have pictures.
  9. I am sorry that things aren't progressing. Pain and restless leg would be depressing. I am sending virtual positive thoughts for you.
  10. We always get the key. I love to drop my carry on (although I still have a tiny back pack that has my jewelry, passports and cash). My meds are in my large suitcase. I have never had my electronics vanish. I enjoy the first day lunch in a quiet non-crowded environment. We always get internet anyway. We use it for phone calls too. I really enjoy the last morning. No super early getting ready to fight the crowds in the windjammer. No need to schlep our bags up or down stairs to get off. Just a leisurely morning of getting ready, nice quiet breakfast and a guide who leads up to the front of the line to then find our luggage in a dedicated area. The key is worth the price for us and we have never had to give up doing something at a port because we purchased the key.
  11. I bring my knitting whenever I travel. I bring at least 2 projects, sometimes more.
  12. FYI check out the "halo bolt portable charger" Not only can I run my espinner with it but I can recharge my tablet or phone away from an outlet.
  13. Samantha has taken over the bed in the sun this afternoon. The high today is 42 so the sun feels good from inside.
  14. The kitchen really looks open now. Three and a half days of work and I think a lot has already been accomplished.
  15. It is 48F right now. Saturday and Sunday will be cold and we will have freezing temps. at night. Darting Monday it will start to warm up. I will have a lot of yard work this spring, we have our lemons wrapped so I hope they make it.
  16. My husband is as much of a large case packer as I am. His shoes are huge, so even if he only brings a pair of dress shoes and a pair of sandals they take up a lot of room. His clothes take up a lot of room and even his snorkel mask is big. So even with less items his bag is as full as mine.
  17. The table. It weighs about 500 lbs. and has been moved from Colorado to New Jersey, to Texas, to California, to Texas, and finally to Florida.
  18. I am not really sure. Maybe it is a cultured granite? He had a computer program that showed the veining in each slab which was different for each, and how each counter piece will be laid out. He could move the pieces around to capture most of the veining and have everything run the same way. It will use most of 2 slabs to get all the pieces. I have a table made from a marble slab that my parents got from Marble Colorado. I still remember going with them to pick it out.
