Good to hear that self service is making a return. Gigi's (Alfredo's on the Enchanted) was OK but they've changes the recipes for items we normally get & they just weren't the same.

We watched both the shows two times and although we didn't leave, my DH & I both weren't as thrilled with the new type of modern music. I really haven heard of the many people who didn't love it but on our next cruise I think we'll just skip it & get a drink at the Wake View bar & enjoy the sunset.

I have a wi-fi phone and also downloaded the free WhatsApp app to make calls and texts both to other phones on & off the ship. Worked great.

If your lucky maybe they'll both work.

When I bring wine bottles on the ship they're sealed. With the plus package there's no need as I have to hit my 15 daily limit. Next cruise we'll be going without the package so it's back to our sealed wine bottles.

That's $8 per drink, not just $8, so yes it does pay to BYOB. No need for any wine skins for protection. We drive & carry out own luggage. Oh, we don't throw out the contents of the wine bottles. We just normally save our old bottles for our up coming cruises.

It still sounds like a lot of problems I can live without considering there are other choices for a Panama canal trip.

Not everyone buys into their packages. Some people just like a drink once in a while without having to pay $8 plus for a rum & coke.

If they were true then why do they still allow wine to be carried onboard in resealable bottles to this day?

They continue to do so only because their ridiculous rule is overlooked by security.

Sometimes even new Medallion's can act differently depending on how strong or weak the battery is. My husbands opened our cabin door from 3 cabins away while mine had to be almost next to the door to work. Ask for a change of Medallion if that happens.

The USB outlets don't charge nearly as fast as an AC wall charger.

I've read lots of folks saying that but I'm not quite certain it's completely true. If you had a legitimate problem & sat down with a Princess supervisor to explain your situation, it just might be possible.

Although there might be a limit stated in their literature about soda & carrying on plastic bottles I had no problem with packing 6 one liter bottles in two suitcases in March at Ft Lauderdale. The security doesn't seem to care about items like that. During a B2B I even got off to unload my suitcase filled with dirty clothes and brought back 8 one liter plastic bottles in my suitcase. It was the only thing in the suitcase so they couldn't have missed it.

I don't think it's a requirement but what about all the other things on the ship like dining, entertainment, pools, port excursions, etc. Surely you'll be doing some of those activities as well? How will you avoid being near people during the whole cruise?

My husband washes out his under ware every day & his socks every other day in the bathroom sink using their liquid soap.

DMW system ? What is that? If your AC is working in your cabin, you should consider yourself lucky at this point. Many cabins have only partial AC. You would have thought that many of these problems would have already been solved since it's the second trip through the canal this season.

Not for our Enchanted cruise it wasn't. I added my own photo at home. For some unknown reason it dropped my Profile Photo from the last cruise but retained my husbands. Strange. Now when I trying to add a new Profile Photo it refuses to take it. After about 20 tries it finally accepted one of my old pictures. Not the one I really wanted but I'm leaving well enough alone at this point. It's not all that important anyway. The system is to flakey to try and change it.

Good idea. That's hard to argue with if you should need proof.

As it does to me, but we're just not in the same income bracket to afford giving tips like that. 😉
