What difference where a person goes during the 30 minute break? As long as their back in a reasonable amount of time, they're entitled to return & claim the chair. Of course the real question is, how long do they have to remain seated upon returning before the clock can be restarted? Why should I have to pay to utilize the medallion when the buffet is there for my convenience.

Just out of curiosity, you couldn't stop them from adding all the extra junk on top of the gelato when they filled the glass? It seems simple enough to do.

Wherever they may be, they're still entitled to their 45 minutes of time before their chair is taken over.

But what if the person is in the pool? I think that deserves a little consideration.

On our last cruise during trivia there was so much sharing that drinks were being refused. Even people with any package had their fill.

Since most sail with some sort of package, is the wine tasting crowded recently? We haven't been there since the end of the shot glasses.

We've done that for years without question. We usually find the largest glass around & fill it to the brim. 😅

We're pretty much just like you but these days we're in the minority. The clientele that Princess is aiming at are not people like ourselves but those that splurge on cruise vacations & the newbies who need everything on their first trip. We've become customers who fill cabins, spending little extra on board and they hope we'll be enticed to spend something extra from time to time. This way they can keep their base price attractive, knowing that the majority will spring for the extras.

Well lets not get into that again but your numbers lean heavy in favor of Princess. I suppose we could be classified as non-drinkers also since the only time we do drink is on a cruise & New Years eve. 😉 Their latest decisions are clearly aimed at the occasional cruiser & newbies who spurge on everything aboard the ship.

And we all know that the charge could be adjusted automatically in their accounts depending on when they booked the trip. 😏

Yes that article spelled it out very clearly. So far, we've managed (with some reductions of our own) to continue cruising and still enjoy ourselves

When's the last time you saw Princess reduce the price of even one thing on their ships when their cost was reduced? (like eggs) Don't tell me that there are people sharing the packages or smuggling liquor from home ! 😲 I though those days were over.

That would work for a even for a formal night. He'll probably see many others dress similarly and others even less dressy. Princess leaves it up to your discretion to what is appropriate.

If you remove the charge for wi-fi which I hardly use and the casual dining that I can do without, plus I'll pick up my medallion in the port, that changes you tabulation considerably. Now I'll be forcing myself to drink much more that I ever would just to come close to consider it a bargain. I forgot the Ocean Now delivery.... another feature that's over rated.

On the Enchanted you could choose how much if each ingredient you wanted to begin with. I didn't get any as it looked much to large a plate full.

For right now, but something tells me that those door hangers won't be around forever. That describes us. Wi-Fi is something we can easily live without. I can easily check my email for free in the Caribbean at any port.
